This steamer has changed my life!!!!!! I have a 10 year old dog that, due to retention issues, has frequent accidents in the house. I was at a loss as I had tried almost every cleaning product before buying this. It works wonders!!!! Very easy to assemble, use, and clean. I was SHOCKED!!! I recommend vacuuming very well and spraying the the stain (and leave for 5-10min) with “Rocco & Roxie Professional Strength Stain & Odor Eliminator - Enzyme-Powered Pet Odor & Stain Remover for Dog and Cats Urine”, rinse with a little water, BEFORE using the steamer with the Hoover solution + water mix. The Hoover solution it comes with works extremely well in ADDITION to the Rocco and Roxie pre-treatment. HOWEVER, the Hoover solution smells a bit like pepto-bismol. It’s not a strong smell and goes away in 1-2 days after use, but I’m not crazy about that scent so I will likely switch to a different solution for the steamer once I run out of the Hoover. Oh! And one more thing- make sure the water used in the steamer is hot - tends to work much better.

We’ve been house training a new puppy who turned out to be a special needs puppy. She can’t hold her bowels for too long and has many accidents. Thankfully we don’t have much carpeting; however, it was in desperate need of deep cleaning. Purchased this cleaner as I didn’t want to spend too much for a smaller space. It does the job pretty good. While we couldn’t smell anything after our pup still could. The only complaints I have is having to continually add/drain clean/dirty water, which at first didn’t bother me but constantly running up and down the stairs to do so irritated me after a bit and if used for too long it would not turn back on until it sat for a period of time (frustrating). Both of which wasted time. All in all not a bad machine for the price. It did clean just as well as the pricier machines.

4 stars because the suction power doesn’t impress me. seems to spit some things back out onto carpet and makes the cleaning process a little harder than it should be. as expected for the price though. i also recommend rinsing 2-3 times after because it can spit out too much of the cleaning solution in one spot, making the carpet crunchy/stiff when dried. if you have the budget to purchase a more expensive carpet cleaner, look into those first! all in all i got what i paid for. cleans the carpets, just with a little hassle

I don’t use chemicals with this because of my dog. Just plain water. We do our area rugs once a month. These are rugs that are vacuumed every single day. I can’t believe how dirty the water comes out! A friend suggested doing this and I only wish I had known sooner. Best purchase I’ve made in a long time!

I had it assembled pretty quickly without even looking at the directions. It all snapped right together. Its a pretty basic straight forward design.Prior to this I had the more expensive Bissel pet with heat. Honestly I think the little hoover cleans as good or better than the bissel. The only big difference is the Hoover holds less water so more refills. I live in an Rv so its not that big of a deal. I've used both off a solar system in case that matters to you.Very happy with it!

It worked the first time I used it. The 2nd time, it never let any water out. I had already used it once and threw the packaging away, so I never tried to return it. I've had every adult in my family try to make it work, but no luck.

Follow the directions and this thing is easy to use and gets the job done! My only complaint is it is rather hard to clean the head of the vacuum, however, it’s not on display and will only bother me when I’m using it 😆
