ArridXX Extra Dry Solid Antiperspirant Deodorant, 2.0 Ounce (56g)

Through the years I have tried other deodorants and I keep coming back to this product because it is effective, cost effective and it just works for my family. I prefer the regular scent while my husband prefers one of the others. I have a myriad of allergies and this has never caused a problem...and it WORKS!

Along with living on the absolute edge of the so-called "temperate zone" and next door to the tropics, I have the world's most rebellious, sensitive skin, which periodically rebels against anything I put on it. I am reduced to living by the dreaded "list"--just as it sounds, it's a list of products approved for my skin by my dermatologist. And at the top of my list was finding an antiperspirant/deodorant that actually worked without turning my skin to a flaming scarlet or producing huge black dead skin flakes/chunks (if it sounds gross to you, imagine how it is to live with it).The parade of antiperspirants and deodorants began about seven years ago, but even using the doctor-approved list products, I was having no success. About two years ago I switched from other non-working commercial brands (Arm and Hammer, Dove, Secret, and a few others etc.) to a natural deodorant (Lavanila) that worked for a while and then quit. Then I went to a holistic, do-it-yourself deodorant made from coconut oil and essential oils, which disintegrated on application and left me smelling like an extremely sweaty essential oil factory. Folks, I live in Florida. You can't have a puny, cowardly deodorant or antiperspirant here. Just walking across the supermarket parking lot is enough to have you sweating like a horse. And I love horses, but I'd prefer to only smell like one when I've been around it.In desperation, I searched my list again. I'd been skipping Arrid, which was at the top of the alphabetical list, for years, because another variety had made me break out (even though it was on the "safe" list), but since I'd tried nearly everything else, I came back to this one. I was afraid to review it for a while, but it's been over six months now and it's still working, It smells a little soapy, which I'm not crazy about, but I'm not brick-red and itching, and I don't smell like a horse--and it keeps me dry and pleasant right until the end of the day just as it should. Moral of story? Sometimes going in alphabetical order works. I wish I'd done that from the start.

I am a tall person and this deodorant does the trick. Used to be able to find it in the stores, but don't often see it there nowadays. Perhaps I am missing it. Anyways, this is a good and trusty, strong deodorant that manages to keep all my odors in check. Lasts throughout the day. Pleasant scent without being over bearing. And a great price. Would highly recommend this to anyone who is not a deodorant snob and has loyalties elsewhere. Tried & true works for me and I stay very active.

It is effective for cases where other deodorants don't work. Its % of the active ingredient is almost as much as in prescription deodorants.More importantly, you have to shave your arm pits to reduce odor. If you rub deodorant on the hair in your arm pits, it doesn't do much good. Whether you do or not, this deodorant will be more effective than what you can buy at the grocery store.

Started using this back in seventh grade when we noticed someone sitting near us had b.o. Well guess who that very embarrassed young lady was....me, uh. I don't think they had manufactured the double x yet, but counting from Jr. High and High School till now, I have been b.o. free for 43 years and I never had any problems with odors ever since!!!

Works well! I need to change up my brand of antiperspirant every few bottles as my body gets used to them and then they stop working. This one has worked longer than other brands. I'm pleased!

Superb!...Prior to using this I was using The Body Shop stick deodorant. Not only was it not effective in controlling BO, it also resulted in underarm itching. However, this product eliminated both, BO and itchiness. It does not have any fragrance but, does its main job with effect.
