Perfect for adapting the older 1/2" a/c gauges sets to the newer 1/4" hoses!
High quality brass air conditioning hose adapters for your older R134a/ R12 a/c gauges. My gauges were from about 9 years ago, the hoses were cracking. Not realizing, I ordered a standard set of replacement hoses....when they arrived. They did not fit the gauge fittings. After some research, I realized newer gauge sets now use 1/4" sae fittings. I searched and finally found this 1/2" female to 1/4" male adapter set. Fits perfectly! Also includes the adapter required to switch over the refrigerant adapter all to the current 1/4" sae fittingsExcellent quality and perfect fit!!

worked like a charm for household refrigerator
i rented oemtools vacuum pump and manifold from autozone, the ports/hoses measure 1/2" and the bullet piercing valve (bpv) i bought for r600a charging hose port measures at 7/16" but these are misnomers....actually the port sizes are commonly known as 1/4" for the small ports and 5/16" for the large ports....very confusing when buying adapters. but these worked for my purposes to adapt a car a/c manifold to the small refrigerant lines (1/2" actual) and vacuum pump hose to bpv (7/16" actual).
