Professional Photo Studio Background Support Kit Softbox Reflective Umbrella 85W 5500k Continuous Lighting for Still Life, Portrait and Video Shooting

First of all, the package arrived damaged (I blame the postal service for that). The two translucent white soft umbrellas and the background clip were not properly packaged/protected. One 85W LED bulb arrived broken, I could hear the broken pieces rattling in the box. One single head lamp holder arrived defective, it couldn't light the bulb and it tripped my breaker when plugged into the electrical outlet. The tripod for the background bracket system came apart when adjusting the height. On a positive note, the background cloth is of good quality. It's my intention to replace this kit and allow a chance to get it right!

I mean for the price what do you want?? It's pretty much everything you need in a start up. The stuff is pretty flimsy but I don't know what people expect for something at this price range. The wind knocked over an umbrella stand and it bent pretty easily. Best used indoors.

Easy set up, allows you to be able to practice before buying higher budget equipment. Works well for the price it's at. Mainly for beginners, but can be used well if knowledgeable with camera and video skills.

Got it just in time for a photo gig at a big party. Keep in mind the dollars to value here. These are NOT equal to the real professional $400+ light kits etc. but this kit is great for a quick setup kit for hobbyists and new photographers getting their start. Lights are big and bright florescent tube bulbs with a nice clean white light about 5500 on the scale. Tripods are simple thumb screw and appear to have strong rivets at joints. The only thing keeping me from 5 stars is the backdrop support bar is flimsy when all extensions are used and if used at full extension, with a reasonable weight backdrop, it will eventually fail. The tripods that support the bar itself seem robust enough. If backdrop support is used alot, you might want to convert crossbar to cut and overlapped wooden closet pole bars. 4 to 6 inches of over lap and pinned together with bolts and wingnuts at joints. Drill holes at ends to match bolt from tripods one size larger.Storage bags are where the company saved the money in manufacturing. They are super cheap quality and made from same material as the bags they hand out free at conventions and fairs.Pleased over all with purchase.

Me quedé muy contenta con la comprar.El único problema que tuve fue con las ampolletas (bombillas), ya que en mi país tenemos 220v y las que vienen en el kit son para 110v, entonces se me quemaron todas por sobre calentamiento. Como referencia, las tuve encendidas en promedio 5 min y fue suficiente para que se sobrecalentaran.

I set up everything at once to check my equipment and the backdrops will definitely need to be ironed or steamed every use. Everything looks great as far as equipment and it came with everything it said it would. The only thing wrong is the carrying zipper bag is cheap so don’t expect it to hold your equipment to long and the zipper broke. Other than that so far so good for a beginner and it’s only been one month so i hope this review helps!

The only problem I have is that one of the bulbs came broken.

This item is perfect! It came with everything that was offered for a reasonable price. It came with nice set of instructions and set-up is pretty easy. The travel bag that was provided is able to carry all your items for on the go purposes. If you are new to photography like me and need a backdrop to help you get started this product is your best bet especially if your on a bit of a budget.
