GGUHHU Womens Chic Button Down Rolled-Up Sleeve Long Cotton Blouse Maxi Dress

I liked the style and color of dress, along with the oversize and splits on the side, however the buttons I did not like. I would have preferred a tan, or blue same material buttons

I have this dress in two colors now, green and yellow, and the material, sizing, and craftsmanship is identical. The cotton has a softer crinkly feel, especially after washing, like a heavier boho textile. Nit see through, has enough fabric that it does not stretch out at buttonholes, and pockets are a functional size. It is flattering as much as a dress of this shape can be, don’t expect tailoring. I LOVE these dresses for going out casually because it’s more put-together than many outfits that keep me comfortable during hot flashes, but unless your going for coastal grandma, this is not a great dress for dressing-up.

This is the perfect dress for running errands, going to a kids game, grocery shopping, you name it! Throw on some white sneakers or sandals and you look put together and ready to start your day.

.. the actual length is not as pictured for a person of 'average' height (I'm 5'6.5"). The XL length is approx 4" below my knee. Top of side slit is slightly above my knee. (Too revealing for my taste).Given shirt bottom style & shorter length (& my own less than attractive lower leg), I'll wear this as an oversized shirt/tunic with close-fitting ankle length leggings underneath.My advice is to check measurement table closely.NOTE: upon reading earlier reviews & negative comments about pocket placement, length of sleeves, fabric quality, and U-shaped side slit, I can report that the manufacturer has corrected all of those flaws. (At least in version I received 7/12/22).Pockets are appropriately placed at hips. Sleeves go to wrists & are easy to roll up. Side slit is a V shape, not U.100% cotton material (mine in navy) is lightweight but not sheer. Feels substantial but not rough.Many complained about cheap buttons that are white instead of color matched. (though pix of brown dress shows brown buttons, so can't speak to colors other than the navy).I don't mind the white as I intend to wear dress w/ white leggings.Even if that weren't the case, given the very reasonable price of the dress (less than $30), I can afford to replace its buttons.

It was extremely large. I tried to return it- the seller gave me 50% off in order to just keep it so I agreed. I’ve washed it twice already with fabric softener and tried drying it to make it smaller but it still feels a bit rough. It has a crinkly look to it it’s not sheer at all which is what I was going for. I wouldn’t wear this in a hot or humid weather which is another thing that was appealing about it in the picture but it didn’t quite work out that way. It’s OK to wear it in the spring maybe over some capris and a white T-shirt but as far as using it on the beach or as a walking tourist in warmer hot weather I would not recommend it. It was a cute concept but it just wasn’t executed very well because of the poor quality of fabric. The seller was nice and responded to my email quickly and refunded me 50% of what I paid quickly and efficiently as well. I’m going to keep washing it in fabric softener hoping that one day it’ll be soft enough to wear as a dress.

Buttoned up it looks like a sack. Unbuttoned over a top and some jeans it could be cute if it wasn’t so huge. Posed like the photo with your hands in your pocket it’s OK but nobody walks around like that. 😆 I’m 5’5” so it was pretty long too. I’m gifting it to a friend who’s taller.

I thought the color I chose for my dress would be a darker hue of brown instead of a light brown mocha color. I made my decision based on the color of brown that was advertised and worn by the model and a customer on the site. I assumed also the color of the buttons would be brown based on viewing the customer’s shirtdress with brown buttons. My Bad for not reading the description carefully, it did say “white buttons” only. It’s misleading to see two different representations of a dress especially if you are counting on getting the one the customer modeled and purchased with brown buttons. My intentions were to wear it like the customer as a light Fall coat but the white buttons are not as flattering. Another issue are the pockets; for my comfort I prefer them not being so snug for my hands and I would prefer them to be wider. I also wish the dress would have been free of the vertical piece of thread that are connected to two buttons (detail issues). Overall I am disappointed in my intended Fall light coat purchase; I am on the fence today as to whether I will return the dress. I really wanted this Shirtdress to bring much joy and satisfaction!

I bought 5 colors. They all fit the same. The only difference is the Burgundy and Grey are a different fabric. It’s more pebbled and feels a bit like polyester. Not a deal breaker for me. I like the fit and style.

The image and description were nothing like what I received. It wasn't as long as indicated, had no side slits, wasn't drop shoulder, sleeves weren't that long, and didn't feel anything like cotton. Took several emails but eventually did receive a full refund (item + shipping). Very disappointing.
