So I was very nervous to buy these shelves due to them only having 40ish reviews and the product having no prime shipping and no free returns. But I have to say I am very impressed. I bought 2 shelves and they literally arrived 3 days after I purchased them. I put assembled them with ease and it was not confusing at all. Let me give a pro/con listpro:- looks AMAZING- can hold alot of stuff- arrived early- no parts were damaged- sturdy for the average person to put decor or a few books on itcons:- says its wood but its vinyl (I knew it before buying but it should say wood if its not wood)- wouldnt recommend for heavy duty book stacking, etc as its not THAT sturdy (it still feels strong but Its not the best material ive seen out there)Im a college student who wants these just to decorate my area so this is perfect for the intention. Its also fairy in the budget range. It creates great space for displaying items or books in rooms that have limited space. I wouldnt recommend this to people who want to have the shelve for years and years (10+ years) and expect it to stay in prime condition. If you want that then you should get solid wood shelves. Other then that I totally recommend this to others!

Pros:• Very easy to assemble (15 mins)• Clear instructions• Fit the space• Fit the look I wanted from farther away• Perfect distance between shelvesCons:• Came dented/scratched/dinged• The shelves feel flimsy and hollow (I wouldn’t put too much weight on them)• The metal doesn’t seem like it can hold much weight eitherOverall- it works. I’m not happy with it showing up damaged and up close it looks very cheap which I was disappointed about. I wouldn’t trust it with a lot of weight because of the shelf construction and the metal looking warped. From far away it looks very cute! I like the colors and it’s the perfect size for the space it’s in. So, it works. It’s fine. Would I recommend it? I don’t know. Depends on what you’re wanting out of it.

The hardware is sturdy, but the shelves are somewhat cheap looking and not as thick as another unit I recently purchased (which has shelves that look like real wood. The true giveaway that these shelves aren’t wood is the edge that faces out. The top of the shelves looks pretty good though). Assembly was straightforward and easy. It’s an ok unit for the price but nothing exceptional.

Just one small dent but it is not his goal. I love the color and a size we store there a lot of our staff and it is a nice addition to our apartment.

I was looking for a bookshelf with ample space and an ability to bear large weights. With each shelf being around 4 ft. wide and with a load bearing capacity of 110 lbs, this seemed like a great option.The order arrived promptly in spite of not shipping with Prime. All in all it took me less than 30 minutes to assemble, but what really surprised me was how easy the shelf was to put together and how light it was. It offers a lot more space than my previous unit, and looks really classy with its finishing.I have been able to move a large collection of books on to the shelf. My books are mostly not hardbound, so they are lighter. Hence I am not testing the full weight capacity of the shelves and at the most I am probably hitting 40-50 lbs per shelf. However, the shelves are thick and it appears that even if I double the number of books in each shelf it is going to hold up without issues.All in all I am very happy with this purchase.

I love this bookshelf. It looks just like the pictures and it was very easy to put together. Seems very strong, can hold a lot of items. For the price you can beat it. Very happy with this purchase

I don’t mind buying furniture that isn’t solid wood. In some respects it’s a benefit not to. For example, when you know you’re tastes change every few years or you don’t want to lug it around all your life. In these cases solid wood would be too expensive to replace every few years or to heavy to keep around. So I don’t mind ikea type furniture. But don’t LIE about it!! This ad clearly says made of solid wood and metal. But it is far from it. It was the reason I chose it but it’s more like cheap imitation. So be warned that it’s not solid wood.

There have been the easiest set of shelves that I have ever assembled. End result is a strong set of shelves with clean open lines that holds whatever I want to display.I've purchased 2 sets and am considering a third.
