If you want a very easy an inexpensive way to add security to your home ...
Very real looking cameras. If you want a very easy an inexpensive way to add security to your home this is it. I put two of them on each side of my driveway to help protect my cars. My neighbors and friend think they are real. The red light ring makes them very visible at night. I highly recommend these if you can't afford real ones. They work just as well.

Tycam app crashed
I bought (2) sets for two homes. The setup for two different homes on separate smartphones (ios) went ok; the video resolution is lower than 480p. Units worked for a month but last week, the Tycam software crashed; both locations simultaneously lost the cameras. Several unsuccessful attempts to revive failed; deleted and reinstalled the Tycam app; unable to add the cameras despite several attempts. What a waste.I tried to search for an alternative ip viewer app to no avail. The Tycam app, I think, is a homemade app and there are no other apps that will work with the cameras. My $180 invest is gone to waste (2 2-sets plus 4 32-gig micro sd cards.DO NOT MAKE A MISTAKE OF BUYING THIS PRODUCT. EVEN IF THEY FIX THE APP, THERE IS NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT TO CALL AND YOU CANNOT COMMUNICATE WITH THE APP DEVELOPER.MY SOLUTION: I am buying RING products, they are owned by Amazon and both the units and the app are made by Ring which they support.

One of the best fake cams I've ever seen
Ok, so quick history on myself. I was a police officer in a large City for 15 years. I've been to hundreds of business's and homes after burglaries and I've seen more fake camera's then I can count. The problem with 99% of fake camera's, well two things really, one is they are so cheaply made and usually mimic older styles of camera's that went out of production 10+ years ago. Second, and really more important, they all seem to have this reason to have a strong red light that blinks on and off constantly. I think it's marketing, because the uneducated public for some reason is sold this idea that a BIG blinking Red LED on a fake camera will surely alert the bad guys not to commit a crime at this particular property. The problem is, in my decade and a half as a police officer, I can't recall a single time that I saw a REAL working security camera that had a big blinking red LED. You know what they blinking light does, well it sure alerts the bad guy that you have a camera, yup... a FAKE camera. Any criminal with any intelligence (and a lot are dumb) knows that blinking LED on a camera almost certainly means it's fake!It actually took me a while to find realistic modern looking faux camera's that didn't have the telltale blinking LED. So onto these particular faux camera's. First, they are reasonably well made, even if the clear dome is a little cheap and fitting the dome to the base doesn't always line up perfectly. This is actually the only reason I gave these 4 out of 5 stars. Oh, one more reason, the inside of the dome of the fake camera is white and if you look closely at it once assembled, you can see the two double A batteries and the nearly empty interior. This means if someone is looking close at these they might see the inside and realize they are fake. Easy fix, take the dome part off, mask off the "camera" and the LED's and spray paint the inside of the dome flat black. I did that on all four and now the inside is invisible. Now you saw that I mentioned that they have batteries. Well of course it's not for a blinking red LED. What these do is they have a light sensor that when it gets dark, some of the LED's turn on to a very subtle reddish brown. This does a great job at mimicking what real security camera's do when it's dark, they emit IR (Infra Red) lights that help to illuminate the dark. In real camera's when they go to night mode you see a faint reddish brown color near the lens, and these do a VERY good job at mimicking that. So great job for accuracy! Bummer that they say that the batteries only last half a year. Now I have a business where these are mounted on rafters on an unfinished ceiling. I ran real Cat 5e cable to each camera, then ran the cable a couple feet and had it disappear under some pink insulation. This really finishes the look in my opinion. And if you really want to do this right, interdisperse some real cameras in and around the fake ones. These are a real class act and I am actually going to buy more from these guys!

Realistic, but lights on one camera did not work.
The cameras look very realistic with the fake infra red lights that come on at dusk and go off at dawn, however, on one of the cameras the lights would come on very reluctantly at first and then after a couple of days stopped coming on altogether. I would have given it 5 stars if they all had worked or if the seller would send me a replacement for one camera.Revision to review: Contacted Amazon, who were super nice. They could not replace just one camera so I was given the option of returning them all or accept a nominal credit+ for the one that was defective. Since the cameras were already installed, I did not want to go through the hassle of removing them all so I accepted Amazon's credit offer. I have changed my review to 4 stars from 2.

A great and cheap home security tool, and a good sacrificial tool for real camera installs.
I install a 4-pack of these with every real camera system I install at a client site. I use them as sacrificial cameras; placing them where criminals and angry persons are likely to find and get to them easily, while installing real cameras in much harder to access locations. Human nature what it is, the stressed out criminal or angry emo will always go for the easy camera, then realize that they cant get them all, so they give up after taking their first few wacks at these ones. Over three years of installs, I have had 3 reports of these types of ppl damaging these dummy cameras at my client sites (but not a real camera touched!). These save my customers a $200 service call, and a down camera; Well worth it for that application. For home use, I highly suggest installing these outside as well (but don't bother to put batteries in them... criminals are dumb, and do not know the difference between real and fake cameras, and half the time, dont even care that they are on a camera...smh)

App doesn't work
The app doesn't work for these cameras. App tells me Network error even though there is no network issue. Camera tells me it's connected but won't bind with app. ice done all the troubleshooting and still nothing.
