Nice smartwatch for notifications and health monitoring. OK battery life.
This is an upgrade from my Fitbit Versa. The Fitbit was not as nice looking and didn't have as many features. I like the way notifications come up on the Emporio Armani watch and the dial can be used to scroll. (the part that looks like what you would use to wind up an old watch)The band was confusing to me at first. I didn't realize that it unsnapped and expanded twice. It was difficult to get it over my wrist until I figured this out. The plastic protective coating on the band took me a long time to remove. I didn't want to scratch the paint so I used my fingernails. I worked on it for days a little at a time to finally get it all completely off.You can, of course, customize and pick different watch faces. The screen dims to save battery quickly so you can either press a button or touch it again to temporarily turn the brightness up.The size is nice. It is large and easy enough to read but not too big. I like that it looks like a watch where my Fitbit was just square and didn't really look much like a watch. I find myself using it for time, date, temperature and notifications the most. The health app is also nice but at times I do not remember to wear it early enough in the day to collect all of my 'steps' or activity. (I need to develop that habit)The charging cable is nice. It connects to the back of the watch and a magnet holds it in place. It is easy to get it to find the right spot on the back of the watch due to the magnet.Adjusting the band wasn't terribly difficult. Once I realized how it opened twice, I do like the metal band quite a bit.I am guessing that the watch would have even more features when connected to an Android phone since Google Wear OS was at one time associated with Android. I have no issues using it with my iPhone but I wonder if more features would be available if I used Android. The battery life is ok in daily mode. It is designed to be charged every night in this mode. There are other modes that can conserve the battery though. I do like that you can change it to "Time Only" to conserve battery. It always bothered me watching people walk around with dead smartwatches that couldn't even tell the time at the end of the day.

Google works as expected, watch is well designed and PREMIUM!
This isn’t my first google smart, I have owned quite a few in the past and this one has all the newest features coupled with the classic Armani design. I ordered this as a gift to give to the man in my life, but before I did that I tested it out for about a week. On first impression, the packaging excellent, stunning, classy and very premium. It comes with an instruction booklet, the charger, and a travel/protection case that has a mesh pocket; so its easy to store away when needed.FUNCTION:Setting up the google smart watch features is pretty easy to do, but I would make sure that you have at least an hour to setup. I only say an hour because I preferred to have it fully charged before using it. After it was fully charged, I followed the on screen prompts to update and setup. It gives options to update and setup with your cell phone or on the watch; I am using an IPhone and it worked perfectly fine without any hiccups. The watch took a few tries to setup, so make sure that when connecting to WiFi or updating to keep the watch close so it can go faster. The watch took a little time to setup and get used to, but afterwards it worked great. The strap fits really well on a mans wrist, being about 8-9 inches, but it can be easily adjusted with the metal interlocking.SMARTWATCH FEATURESHaving previous experience with these watches in the past, I know that these take up quite a bit of battery life; and this one was no different. On a 8-10 hour work day without overuse it 100% would need to be charged by bedtime. What I loved about this watch mostly was the responsiveness, LED screen, and google features. Notifications showed up right away, and it was easy to setup alarms and read notifications. The LED screen is actually very smooth, large, and clear; one of the best that I have used. The google features also have a few backgrounds that can be changed, but not a huge variety. Interestingly enough, it was really easy to synchronize google accounts with iPhone colander and messaging without any issues.Overall this is a great watch, I wouldn’t recommend it for high activity sports or anything strenuous because of the metal band; but it would make a great watch for events or someone that works in business or an office. The watch face is large and gorgeous, and google apps were easy to setup. If you are a fan of the google home or apps; this integrates very well. I would recommend this for a modern man or women that loves the classy black high quality design, it definately speaks for itself as a fashion statement!
