L'Oreal Professional Tecni Art Liss Smooth Control Gel Cream

I have been searching for a replacement of an oldie but goodie smoothing serum, Artec Textureline Smoothing Serum. Much to my surprise, this while in a gel cream versus pump serum is VERY similar. I have thick, coarse, wavy hair and this worked great! Style lasts 2-3 days too!

Noticed your new packaging. Is this still the same product before the design change? Many are wondering.

This new product was suppose to be as good as the one L’Oreal discontinued. Unfortunately it doesn’t compare. I have spiked hair and this gel is too soft.

Leaves my hair smooth and not fizzy. One of the best products I have used.

I've used this product for over 15 years. It's the best. I buy it in from Europe to the USA as it's not available here.

Just like any other hair crème, nothing special about it, and evaporates too quickly on my white girl frizzy hair.

I have long, very fine, straight hair that tangles easily. It's difficult to find a product that can nourish the ends without weighing down the roots and making my hair look lank, but this one does the job if applied carefully. I rub a 10p-sized dab of it between my palms, then apply to the very ends of towel-dried hair, before blow-drying or leaving to air dry. Used this way, I find it reduces/prevents tangles, and keep my ends moisturised and protected from central heating, winter air and other drying effects. The gel cream itself has a good thick smooth texture and a very mild, pleasant fragrance. One tube lasts a good while.

I was recommended this product by the hairdresser at Covent Garden Opera House. It is particularly great for flyaway or dry hair. You can either put it on wet (just a little does) and blowdry (stops frizziness) or rub it in your hands and smoothly stroke it onto your styled hair. It isn't greasy and really helps if you have hair like I do - I dry smooth and then a bit of damp weather ruins my style.

Love this, not only on towell dried hair before drying, but as a smoothing cream on dry hair too - doesn't weigh it down or make it look greasy, just smooth,shiny and manageable!

My hairdresser got me onto this fab product. It protects the hair , leaves it soft & manageable. My hair is fine, and I had no lank hair - which other products can do. Recommend

I was going to use it for styling my hair without hard fix, but the product doesn't seem to do anything at all, very disappointing. It's not heavy though and doesn't glue the hair all together
