CoverMaster Gold Shield Car Cover for Chevrolet Corvette 5 Layer Waterproof (C5: 1997-2004)

Purchased this cover a couple of weeks ago and was truly hoping to get what i purchased however what i got was disappointed 1. the cover does not fit like the picture shows it it does fit the car just not what i expected. then the most important thing was that i was expecting it to be water proof as advertised WELL that's not the case it is not water proof. PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS COVER IF YOU WANT WATERPROOF. VERY DISAPOINTED I TRIED TO GIVE IT NO STARS BUT AMAZON WONT LET YOU DO THAT I WISH I COULD GIVE IT NEGITIVE STARS

I have been buying this product from Mid America Motorworks for years and never a real issue. It usually last about 2 years here in our rather severe Midwest winters. Recently purchased this product from another company because Mid America was out of stock. It is a cheap knockoff copy and will probably need to be replaced after the first storm. Cheap material and workmanship and doesn't fit snuggly like the authentic cover. This is a scam product and I highly recommend not dealing with this supplier.

I received the car cover a couple of days ago. I was carful to get the right one ordered to fit my C-3 1968 Corvette Convertible. I checked and double check before ordering. The cover is shrink wrapped in clear plastic bag with all the parts included. I cut the bag open and unfolded the cover and it seemed about the right size so my wife and I gathered it up to take it to the garage to put over the car. We have the hardtop off the car and the soft down. Here is the rub. If I ever want to put the top on for the winter or the soft top up and put the cover on...the car cover is not long enough or wide enough! I don’t think this cover is going ever fit this C-3 or anyone else’s C-3! Do NOT buy for your 1968 to 1982 C-3 Corvette! By the way the mirror pockets are not exactly in the right spots either! Buyer beware!!!

This car cover will let in water during heavy rain. I bought it to cover my car outdoors. I put on the new cover and it rained heavily the next day. When I removed the cover after it had dried out, there were water marks permanently etched into the vinyl decals (stripes) up and down the car and greasy streaks all around my newly detailed car. I learned my lesson to never buy another car cover for outdoor use, as they will damage your car’s exterior more than they will protect it, no matter what the manufacturers claim.

A very high quality and well fitting cover for the money. It is well worth it to buy a fitted cover if this quality and the little extras like a locking cable are a nice peace of mind of you ever need to leave it covered in an area of ill reputation.

Our Corvette is a 1980 C3, 2 door and I purchased this cover for my boyfriend for Christmas. We live in the mountains of Colorado and had the car covered with tarps etc. and it was secure until a large wind last week. At that time we opened the box to put the new cover on and it is way too small. You can't get both rear view mirrors in at the same time and you can't get the front and the back covered at the same time. We tried to return or exchange it and was told it was past the return deadline. I guess we should have opened it immediately but didn't need it immediately. We resecured the tarps, but when the weather warms up again, we will definately be taking a picture of our attempt to cover the car and post it here.

I got this cover for my C6 Corvette. After getting only the box said C6 so why would I need patches for a antenna which was in the box? So I unfolded it and attemped to install the back only cMe to just below the license plate about a foot short and the rear sides came down to the top of the rims again about a foot and a half short. The mirror pockets were not lined up. So I checked the front and it was right were it should be. Getting it ready to send back they have note return cost will be taken out of my refund which will be a week after they get it back. Why? I ordered the right cover it's their the companies downfall.I'll change this after I see what they do.

I like the thickness, soft inner layer to protect the paint and overall fit of this car cover for my C7 Corvette.
