Great quality
Whilst i havent finished with it yet, this reel oozes quality. Its light but still feels sturdy due to the metal casing. Very smooth and looks really neat with red ice line loaded. Would have been 5 stars if it offered back wind as a feature, but from what i have since read this is common in the US as they use the drag 100 percent of the time. Final point, from my research this reel is more expensive than what it would cost in the US, but UK pricing is generally consistent so not much you can do there. I have always invested Shimano products so looking forward to seeing if the great reviews i have read are consistent. Shame it doesnt include a reel pounch at this price point.

Handle snapped! cannot seem to get a replacement
Worked really well when first bought, very sturdy, reliable and effective. Then one day noticed the arm had bent. Tried to bend back (by hand) but was too strong (is solid ALuminium after all) but then found it gave way in one area, clearly a fault in the original material. I've looked for a replacement arm but cannot seem to find and is completely unusable of course and no warranty,repair options - hugely disappointing from such a high quality product and brand. Surely there must be a solution!?!

L'un des meilleurs moulinets que j'ai eu
Super moulinet de très haute qualité j'ai péché du thon sur chasse avec,un frein à arrêter un bus surtout si vous l'utiliser avec une bonne canne.Il a une très bonne protection contre l'infiltration d'eau de mer !
