Belkin F1U200 4-Port USB Auto Switchbox (4 PCs to 1 Device)

Does not work with Windows 7 computer which I have (and a Windows XP computer). I did not read description far enough to note the operating systems it only functions with. It does not work with Windows Vista, 7 or 8. So the device is basically worthless for the newer computers.

I bought this device to hook two computers to one printer using two different operating systems. Works perfect. Simple setup, straight forward use. The lights are clear and easy to read. My only complaint is the additional cables I had to buy, they only send one extra cable. I think they should give you four since you can add up to four devices. The price was good for what I got. I would recommend this for even novice users of computers.

Works well - don't mind selecting the button for the printer. So glad to be able to print from either printer.

unit did not work, but very fast refund. no issues.

ease of use

This is NOT an AUTO switchbox. It is a MANUAL switch where the user has to press a button to select the device to be connected.In Windows, you will get an error "unsafe removal of device" when swiching.NOT AS ADVERTISED.

No manual switching required. Works great.

I use this switch to share a printer with two computers. It is easy to set up, use, and has been trouble free. A very minor wish is that it would automatically find the computer that is turned on first. However, to use the manual switch is simple. Am I glad that I have it? Yes. Would I buy another one, absolutely!
