Classic Goosebumps Collection: Books 1-4 Kindle Edition

I bought this for my son for his 5th birthday because he absolutely loves Goosebumps! The stories are not too long but you get four of them per case. We listen to it in the car and it's a great way to "read" to him when we're on the go... Which is a lot of the time.

I've never been into scary stories, but I wanted to vet these before letting my small nephew have access to them. They're great! There's no preaching at the kids about what kind of people they should be, There's no phony guarantee of "living happily ever after". They're scary enough for youngsters who like a few chills, but not horror stories to send hem into nightmares..

This package was purchased to give my granddaughter a starting point in her interest in reading. I was hoping the collection would contain more books for the price and age of publication, But overall these books are in her interest and short enough to not overwhelm her into not finishing a book.

Many of my students like the HorrorLand series, and this set was a great deal. I personally have not read the books, but all have been read by one or more of my students, and they are a hit. Somehow I ended up with higher numbered books in the series and didn't have any of the first ones, so this was a great way to get them.

good starter for 11 year old to form pleasue reading habits! He is working on #1 and enjoying it but has difficulty sitting still for long periods of reading and we are looking for books to interest him enough to extend his reading attention span.

Bought the set as a Christmas gift for my Grandsons. They loved the stories and it held their attention; a remarkable feat for a 3 & a 6 year old. My daughter-in-law,a teacher, approved so the books were a total success. The 6 year old could read them but enjoyed having Grandma read to him and Grandma enjoyed the stories as well.

Well, everyone knows about goosebumps. Kindle version makes it no better, but is convenient. However surprisingly if you buy this goosebumps collection (1-4), you end up paying more than if you buy all the four series kindle versions individually. Reduced cost for a collection of books is not a big ask from readers.

I had all the Goosebumps books when it first came out when I was young. R.L.Stine is a good author. I've gave all the books to my sister daughter when she was in 4th grade and now my brother youngest daughter like them!!!

This book certainly grabbed my interest as all three books in the collection were extremely detailed and stopped me from putting the book down. I finished this over a month and defiantly is recommended for ages 8+
