Assembly
Here it goes, after i ordered the Trampoline it took about a week to be shipped to my house. This is not bad considering it came from California and I live in North Carolina. The assembly went smooth, when you do this by yourself i recommend to leave the frame with the opening for the springs up and mount the legs underneath. Make sure that you use the short curved pieces for the legs and the 3 foot curved for the screen support (vertical). Also it will make it easier to use a ratchet wrench during the assembly. As for the green top of the pole Net support I went out and bought some zinc 1/4 20 2 inch long screws with lock nuts. After the first use it just fell apart and the net slid down. The nuts what are during the injection molding inserted are falling out and will not hold . I used a drill and drilled thru the pipe and now it is holding properly. Overall it took me 4 hours to assembly it by my self.Overall I am very happy with the quality and would recommend this to anyone. If you have any question with the assembly just send me a message and I will be glad to answer any question.

We have been very happy
It’s been six months since the purchase of our trampoline and we’ve been very happy. It was easy(ish) to put together ourselves. We love the size as it can accommodate our family. All the pieces seem to be holding up well, even on the PNW with all our rain and tree debris. My only challenge is cleaning off the trampoline. I wish there was an easier way.

Warning- the “free assembly” is a scam, we returned!
So, my review is based ENTIRELY on why I returned it. I’m also hoping that someone from amazon will finally understand why I returned it, since each of my FOUR phone calls got me nowhere. This trampoline comes with “free assembly” when purchased. The free assembly comes in the form of a code, sent via email from Amazon (and yes, I confirmed it was “really from amazon” even though I can just imagine the likelihood of an email spammer knowing that the exact item I purchased would come with free assembly would be very, very high. NOT.) Next, I entered the code for the assembly and it didn’t work. Error message at checkout “code cannot be used” (or something like that) I called amazon, after about an hour of explaining and re-explaining, it was determined that I would hear back from amazon within 24 hours via email, either to state that the code would now work and to go ahead and use it, or it would have a new code. When I didn’t hear back 24 hours later, I called again, another hour wasted or starting from the beginning (this whole “the code doesn’t work” seems to be something that was never covered on their troubleshooting checklist). Same outcome of this phone call, with the bonus that they determined the email address that the code came from was their marketing team, and I would be hearing from them. The next day I got an email from amazon marketing, not with a new code or “your code works now” but instead a list of about 8 questions (I can guarantee you I’d answered each of those already about 4-5 times) the email directed me to respond to that email, answering each question, which I grudgingly did, and included a screenshot of the original code email and GUESS WHAT- I immediately get one of those auto-generated “you can’t reply to this email” responses. SERIOUSLY.Of course I call amazon back, twice more, I won’t bore you with the “start from the beginning” details, but I was informed on my very last call that marketing was “waiting to hear back” from me and they couldn’t do anything until I responded. Ummmm wutttt?!? My response was that they have my phone number and I was giving this insanity only 5 more minutes of my time and then I was choosing my free return shipping on this 159lb package, which might just cost a little more than the $123 the installation was priced at if I had paid out of pocket.Needless to say, Amazon did not come through on this one, beware!!

Love the trampoline; but the instructions are a disaster.
This is a great trampoline once assembled; however the instructions are TERRIBLE. Two things to note: They have you assemble the 2+1 sections in the wrong order (study the diagram where it shows them all assembled and you'll see what I mean) and make ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN you position the mat correctly - the warning label on the mat must line up between the #4 and #5 hole of the #2 "key" - or you'll be doing it all over again. Also make sure you have a socket wrench with a 13mm socket to save you the pain of their terrible supplied tools.Took 2 of us 3 hours to assemble with the net etc. Not bad really, but would have been half that with decent instructions. The trampoline is far better than the instructions

If you are going to purchase a trampoline - buy the round one (or better yet the rectangle if you can afford it)
Save yourself some trouble and don't buy the oval trampoline. If you are going to purchase a trampoline - buy the round one (or better yet the rectangle if you can afford it). The oval seems like a nice compromise between the round and the ridiculously expensive rectangle trampolines. However, the set up is a huge pain. As others have pointed out, the directions that come with this are terrible and the online video instructions are not much better. Assembling the oval is even harder because the frame and mat are not symmetrical (duh, it's an oval). Unfortunately, there are no markings or instructions for proper alignment of either the frame or the mat. So it is a bit of trial and error to make sure you get the oval mat, spring guard, and net all lined up correctly. It does not matter on the round one, but if you get it wrong with the oval, you have to take everything apart and start over. Since the manufacturer provides no help with the instructions, is is easy to screw up.

Very solid and nice Trampoline
Read the directions and follow them. The directions are very well written, even with some humor added. The trampoline comes in two boxes and all the parts are well packed. It took about 2 hours to assemble with two adults and a couple helpers. There are a few spots where you might benefit from a rubber mallet or hammer with a piece of wood. Overall this was a really nice assembly and when complete, a very nice product. The kids spent several hours on the trampoline and everyone is very pleased with the purchase. Yes, I would highly recommend the Skywalker 16ft oval trampoline.

With the net for around the trampoline attached to the jumping surface it is not easy to clean off leaves and such on a windy ..
as stated in other reviews it is a little difficult to set up. With the net for around the trampoline attached to the jumping surface it is not easy to clean off leaves and such on a windy day. My girls have also commented that it is not as bouncy as a round trampoline. We know that with the surface oval the stretching of the surface will be different. It takes a lot of muscle to get air out of it.

Was actually easy to put together by one person
Was actually easy to put together by one person. Love it. Kids love it. I'm able to move it easily when cutting the lawn also for such a large size trampoline

it's a great, big trampoline at a very reasonable price
Had a few assembly mishaps, but other than that, it's a great, big trampoline at a very reasonable price. And loads of fun for kids and grown-ups alike
