I love them
Let me start by saying that I read the other reviews before buying, so I wasn't expecting to be able to wear these on their own as leggings when they arrived. I am 5'4, and have fat thighs. I also have terrible, painful varicose veins with my pregnancy. I have tried other compression stockings, and have been unable to wear them because they are so uncomfortable (too long for my short legs, won't stay up, cut in behind my knees, etc). So, I took a chance on these, and have been really happy with them. They provide enough compression to make my varicose veins feel much better throughout the day, but aren't so tight that they are uncomfortable to wear. They stay up over my growing belly, and aren't itchy. They are fairly see-through at the top of the thigh and over the butt, but I wear them under pants every day, anyway. I bought a second pair because they are so comfortable.

Great for varicose veins and leg pain/tiredness!
I am 29 weeks pregnant and have developed pretty intense varicose veins in my upper thigh over the past 4-6 weeks. I've been wearing these for about a week now, and they help the pain and swelling a lot. I still try to stay off my feet as much as possible, but having a 2.5 yr old and being a special needs teacher make it almost impossible. These are very tight, which they are supposed to be, so make sure you allow yourself about 5-10 minutes in the morning to get them on! Pre-pregnancy I was 5'3, about 135 lbs and wore a size 6 pant. I'm now 29 wks and about 155 lbs and the medium leggings fit me well. Also, forewarning, since these compress your legs and stomach you should expect some extra swelling in your feet. The swelling usually goes away after I take them off and put my feet up for a bit.

The only true maternity compression leggings, and they're sadly too sheer
First, let me state that I love the Preggers products. I have to wear compression tights throughout my pregnancy, and I've purchased nearly every product offered. While this brands runs a little small, (order up a size just to be safe) they durable and stylish enough for the office. These are the only true compression maternity leggings I've seen, and I have looked everywhere. If you are on doctor's orders to wear compression tights all day, the ability to wear versatile leggings is fantastic. However, they are about as thick as a pair of opaque tights. Make sure your top covers your bum, because if not everyone will be looking directly at your a**, a lesson I learned the hard way during a quick trip to the store. So Preggers, I love you, but let's make these a little thicker next time, okay?

Feel good on my legs, but pressure on my belly!
The jury is still out on these. I'm 24 weeks pregnant and just got these a few days ago. For each of the 2 days I've worn them so far, they feel good on my legs but too tight on my belly. I'm 5'8" and ~170lbs and smack in the middle of the large on the size chart. I think they are sized fine, but there were times both today and yesterday that I felt like it was hard to breathe and I was getting nauseous, when nausea has not been one of my main concerns during pregnancy. Yesterday I ducked into the restaurant bathroom to pull them off from under my pants (before eating), and today I had to pull over on my commute to work to pull them down from over my belly. When I got to work I put them back on properly and lasted the rest of the day (until I got home - then they came right off). This is my 2nd pregnancy and last time veins weren't an issue. This time they started becoming more pronounced within the past month, after it finally occurred to me why the back of my legs were bothering me so much. The pain/discomfort isn't constant all day (yet??), every day, so I can't swear that the leggings are working. But I haven't felt vein pain while wearing them yet, which is a good sign.Despite the discomfort they've caused, I'm going to try to keep wearing them for now. I'm hoping that I just need to get used to the extra compression on my belly and ultimately they will be valuable in tending to my varicose veins.UPDATE:Okay, I've had these about a month now and I have gotten used to the compression on my belly. Occasionally, when I'm feeling bloated, they can get very uncomfortable, but for the most part I think they help. There were a few times where my legs felt extra restless/weak, and I put these on and almost instantly felt energized. When I take them off, my belly feels heavier too. They are supportive for sure, even for my lower back. There is one hole in them already, but I keep wearing them out of necessity. I just wish there was some alternative for the summer months - I want to wear shorts!!

That means they are tough to get on and no fun during the hot summer months
My daughter is having trouble with veins on her legs this pregnancy. I bought these in an attempt to help. they are light weight compression hose, but serious compression hose. That means they are tough to get on and no fun during the hot summer months. But they do cut her leg pain, decrease the vein bulging and make life easier. Although she is a solid medium in everything, the medium hose were just too small, too tight, and just did not stay up. The large was a much better fit on her medium sized body.

Effective and comfortable (as conpression goes anyways)
Ok I have ordered several different brands of compression tights and leggings over he past few weeks trying to find ones that would fit and be somewhat comfortable. These Preggers leggings and a pair of their tights will be all I'm keeping.Compared to the other brands I have tried these are softer, have better stretch and don't make my belly itch! My only 2 complaints: these are slightly see-through from the thigh up, kinda makes them useless as leggings unless your wearing a tunic or skirt. Second complaint: preggers doesn't make their moderate compression in legging form, just tights and pantyhose, which are not footless.
