Hot Wheels are popular with children of all ages. I’m in my 30s, but I collect and sometimes mod(ify) cars. So, I’m reviewing this from my own perspective, rather than that of a child. The main selling point of this particular series is the embedded chip, though to make full use of this you need a special track and phone app, neither of which I have, so I can’t comment on that. It does seem to fit with regular Hot Wheel tracks and accessories, although you’re not getting anything more than a regular car if played with that way. What I can say is that this is a much superior paint job than usually seen on regular cars. My camera isn’t really good enough to capture all the detail, even on macro setting, but it has little features like the stripes and signature on the side. This might not be of much interest if you’re only looking to play with it, but this isn’t one that I’ll be repainting as it’s too good for that. (It always seems a shame when one is too good to mod, hence why I usually look for ones that I don’t mind redoing.) (Some of the photos show another car and accessories.
