As Good as the First Book
Wow, just wow. I just finished the final page in this book and I'm not going to bother to take the time to clear my thoughts - this is just a 'just go with it' review.First off, Saint...... If I thought I was obsessed with you in the first book then I had no idea how deeply I would fall in love with you in the second. And Willow, what a pressure cooker to be put in and yet the girl still has sass and fight and some really good wits about her.Just as the first one ended on a cliffhanger with the first sight of Alek Popov - the most powerful leader in the Bratva mafia, a master puppeteer and the whole reason Willow has been abducted - to be his new personal toy - and finally Saint's sister, Zoey, who Saint is desperate to get out from Alek's hands, one goes into this one white knuckled and really dreading what awaits them when they arrive back in Popov's homeland of Russia. As it turns out, nothing was as was promised. Zoey has played upon her brother's deep protective need and self-sacrifice and Popov is a slippery character who twists his words when it comes to his supposed promises. Willow and Saint seem truly screwed and that's just with the revelations with Popov and Zoey. But damn, when they do get to Russia and life starts to play out there with a whole slew of characters coming out of the woodwork, it makes the first book seem like an easy and clear ride.Willow is now Popov's and his reputation for slaves and women being expendable precedes him. Then there's still Zoey who is a deeply troubled and ruthless enemy for Willow to defend herself against. But as the story goes on, these two pale in comparison to the other players that enter the picture. To say the danger ramps up and comes from all sides is to put it mildly. There is no way out. It isn't just Alek involved in human trafficking but a whole slew of despicable characters and one in particular who I hated so much that if I find out he's miraculously around in the third one, I think I'll just enter the book myself and put a gun to his head and blow his brains out!I'm once again not going to go into detail because I hate falling upon reviews by accident where I discover things I would've rather read but this one is so full. There is the Circle and that in itself is like dissecting an Agatha Christie mystery mixed with unveiling a worldwide secret organization, plus power, corruption, vengeance, captivity and love.Love with the big capital L. Because Saint will do anything within his power to save Willow and he's up against enormous odds. While they might have had deep feelings for each other on that island in the first book, this is where there is full out LOVE. And Willow will do just about anything to protect Saint even as a captive in a foreign world where she is merely a pawn. All I wanted to see was these two be together and break free - for them both to finally not be under the hand of an owner, each in their own ways. But then the book takes one of many twists and everything gets slewed. The guy you think you're going to hate the most, turns out to be the lesser of all evils. The people you think will be allies turn out to be snakes waiting to strike in the grass and the hits just keep on coming. I seriously could not put this book down. Just as Saint's moral lines were skewed way before this book, Willow finds herself having to fight hers and along with them, I found mine being twisted and contorted around flipping sides and not really knowing which way was up.This ends on another cliffhanger (obviously) as there's book 3 to come. But damn, I thought I knew how it might take a near tragic turn towards the end but I was nowhere near prepared for Saint's last directive and I definitely wasn't prepared for who would step up for Willow. And that's without the final chapter - to say my mouth was slack jawed at who the person was who came into the picture to give the big reveal and the members of the little group that have formed? Yeah, that was a total shock.I waited a long time to read this book, always with Saint and Willow in the back of my mind because I couldn't deal with reading this one and having to wait for the third one to come out. Was it worth the wait? Hell yes! Because I cannot wait to dive into book 3 immediately. This series has me totally won over and completely addicted and as I think I said in the review from the first one, just where was this author hiding??? Because I've definitely been missing out! That being said, the only thing I have to add is a rating and with absolutely no hesitation I'm going with *****five Fallen Stars!!! My only regret? That there's only one last book for me to read in this world that's so full and unexpected!

As great as the previous one!
Change of scenery. Willow is now in the hands of one of the most feared men in all Russia: Aleksei Popov. He wants her to become his to control and to use but Willow is fierce and won’t go down without a fight. The constant tension I felt through this book was real…everytime Saint and Willow had a moment alone I thought. They’re going to get caught. I really flew through these pages. And after Saint was gone, I began to actually like Aleksei. I actually want to read his story and since it’s fiction, I want his redemption arc.The end of this book is heart wrenching and I actually cried so be ready for that. You can’t finish this book without immediately grabbing the next one to figure out what happened. It’s that good. Monica James’ talent in dark romances is something else indeed.

Unquestionablly Five Stars!!!
Q: A love-struck Juliet smitten with her bloodstained Romeo.I was only recently introduced to Monica James storytelling when I was able to read Bad Saint and Fallen Saint back to back. The first two books in the All The Pretty Things trilogy left me utterly wrecked. It took me forever to process… to write a review for this dark, intense, incredibly sexy, forbidden romance. I can't tell you how quickly I was sucked into these books and just how entranced I became by Saint and Willow's rollercoaster. The storyline is fast-paced and consuming. You won’t want to put your device down and if you can… well, then you are definitely made of stronger stuff than I!!!Q: “…You eclipse my darkness and make me want to embrace the light.”As with Bad Saint, Fallen Saint continues to be told strictly from Willow’s POV. Although each chapter begins with succinct journal entry from Saint, enlightening readers to his ever-changing mindset, the narrative that is told is Willow’s journey into hell. The story has become increasing sexy to the point that I advise you to have those batteries charged or your spouses on standby!!! 😉 As the tangible chemistry grows between Saint and Willow, I was sure that my kindle would ignite. And I quite honestly am sure that by the conclusion of this trilogy that will be the case. Monica penned captivating characters that offer true depth and growth and are utterly fascinating. I choose to say little more than that as I don’t want to inadvertently spoil the plot for new readers.Q: “Well, how can you want me when I am so ... up?”“Because… your demons dance with mine. They always have.”Monica James writing is incredible and the story she told had me glued to my seat for two solid days. As a matter of fact, I rarely get to read just for pleasure, but I truly had to get my hands on this story, so I carved out the extra time to begin the trilogy with Bad Saint and I was absolutely blown away. While both books end in spectacular cliffhangers—and I was lucky enough to immediately jump from Bad Saint into Fallen Saint—I can tell you I would have quite literally chucked my Kindle had the next book been unavailable. As it stands, its almost agony to wait the release of the conclusion to this trilogy. I cannot get Willow and Saint out of my head and the unproducible nature of the story was truly brilliant! I have no idea how I have missed out on this author’s fantastic storytelling in the past, but I can assure you that I am now stalking her through social media for every tidbit I can soak up. The story she penned in the All The Pretty Things trilogy will not be for everyone. While I personally do not need trigger warnings there are some that might struggle with this romance and strictly for that reason, I advise caution and research. Otherwise, if you’re a fan of dark romance, dive into this absolutely incredible story immediately because it’s already one of my top reads for 2019!Q: “I fear you too.”

Another deliciously dark story!
So this is book 2 in the All The Pretty Things series by Monica James and jumps straight back into the journey of thedarkness and depraved lives of Saint and Willow! And it definitely starts right back off where book 1 left us... Willow is back captive and held against her will but this time by full on bad boy Alek who won her in a poker game. But this time aswell as a feast of bad guys against Willow getting free she now has Zoey to contend with.. queue even more drama and more emotions that you can deal with! This side of the story shows you a completely different side to all characters.. they all come into their own showing their true colours not just their evil front. So so many times through this story I wanted to hug Saint... he just managed to weave his way into my heart so much!!This book finishes with a Bang and a OMG what the hell is she doing with this story moment which immediately wants you to jump into book 3 asap!Def recommend this series.

Holy Smokes!!
📚 Fallen Saint by @authormonicajames 📚📖 Back to the beginning, Willow is once again bound, against her will and sailed to the destination beyond her control. Her captor might have changed, but the intent is the same she must submit, cave, surrender. But this is Willow Shaw. She has nothing to lose, she will not bow down and let the monsters win. Her plans of escape foil, leaving her destined to Russia. Desperate, she clings to the hope her green eyed мастеp gives, but the risks may be greater than she even thought, and possibly the fear of success is even worse...📚 Oh Monica!! Wowee. I really want sure what this book would reveal, 1 had so many open ended questions and it really really didn't disappoint. Dark and violent, with so many twists my head is spinning! The plot is so deep, there are still so many questions and Monica has made me feel completely different about the characters! I can see so many outcomes and I honestly dont know which one I'd prefer...I have a feeling I wouldn't be able to predict what's in store though!

Edge of seat good
Oh my goodness. After the first one I couldn’t put the second one down.Saint has got me on the edge of the seat. He has got me wanting to know more and more. What is going to happen?? Will he save the light to his dark?? Will he keep it shining??Willow was the light but now she has come to the darkness but it’s not the darkness she knows, it’s different. But how can it be different when she has been told and taught to obey from the beginning??Will the devil show who he really is or will he hide behind the masks he uses often before he captures his prey???
