Stirling Moss: My Racing Life

I have most books on the great man and I must say this one is probably one of the best. Stirling's personal anecdotes told to Simon Taylor give the reader an insight into his determination to succeed on the road and track. There are many colour images which add to a readers enjoyment. Superb addition to any enthusiasts bookshelf.

With photos and text, this is a superb story of his racing life. A must if you are a Moss fan, but buy it if you are interested in that period of motor racing, anyway. I have other books on motor racing and drivers, but this one is easily the best

There have been umpteen books published upon Stirling Moss and the story is familiar with some photographs commonplace. I purchased this one with a degree of trepidation but need not have worried. This book is produced to a high standard with top quality images, many of which I had never seen before. The narrative to each picture added by Moss and Simon Taylor is relevant and considered. If I had one criticsm it would be that the subjects racing history after 1962 is barely covered but that would be nitpicking - recommeneded.

The words of The Master, carefully collated and organised by an expert 'ghost' Simon Taylor. Great pictures, great read. If you weren't a fan before, you will be after reading this. Well worth every penny. Enjoy. They don't make them like they used to!

A great summary of the career of a genius

fantastic book.Stirling as I remember him as a young lad going to races with my dad.He will always be the greatest driver to me,a really great book and well worth the money
