Comfortable and supportive
I love these slippers! This is the second pair I’ve gotten. They have great arch support so my feet don’t get tired while I wear them! They last a long time, and wash wonderfully! I just throw them in my washing machine, and allow to air dry.

Great support and really helped foot pain!
Update: 1/18/7/19 Still love these slippers. I'm on my second pair and plan on buying again in a few months. The covering inside wears off around the toes but otherwise great.I have had a pair of vionic sandals for a year that tie with my tennis shoes as the most comfortable footwear. After discovering I had plantar fasciitis 1 1/2 years ago I have been building up my collection of othrapedic shoes. I have been using cheap slippers with a superfeet insert but it's not enough. I'm in my slippers most of the day as a stay at home mom and my feet hurt most of the time even with support, stretches, etc. I also high arches which makes it even harder to have proper support. These have excellent support for high arches. Yes, is hard compared to other slippers but those flatten quickly and lose support. These are slightly more cushy than the sandals. The only thing I didn't like when I first put them on was the Velcro tab. The inside of the tab was firm and a bit uncomfortable. However, after wearing around the house for 12 hours it's already unnoticeable. I wear an 8 normally and bought an 8 in the slippers. They do seem to be 1/2 - 1 size bigger than normal but I like roomy slippers and the footbed still fits well. Plus I can tighten the tab to make it snugger. My feet are a standard width and these fit perfectly. I think $60 is reasonable given the support. The nice supportive shoes start at $70 and these aren't that different.

Wonderful Slipper for problem feet
These slippers were first prescribed by my podiatrist in 2018 for a severe case of posterior tibial tendonitis. They provided great relief quite quickly, and I have worn them constantly ever since. After about 3 years, they are starting to show their age, with a tiny hole on top of the toe (visible only when I wear white socks with the black slippers). I am still wearing them, but decided I should probably treat myself to a new pair. My new grey pair is lovely, but I am saving it for "special occasions" such as if my first pair ever really wears out. These slippers are not available (anywhere) in half sizes, and when I purchased the first pair, the shoe store salesman insisted I wore size 9. To my eyes, it appeared just a little too long for my size 8-1/2 foot, but he did not have a smaller size in stock. I did not ever have any problems with the size 9, but when I ordered my new grey pair, I decided to try a size 8, since the width is adjustable by the velcro-fastened side flaps. The smaller size was painfully too short. I returned it with no problem at all, and re-ordered the 9, which fits just like my first pair, is very comfortable, and I have no trouble keeping it on or walking in it. The Gemma slipper is a "mule" type, with a looser fit (even in the smaller size) than I am accustomed to. As a senior citizen with walking problems and poor balance, I was concerned when I got my first pair, that I might trip and fall, but this has never been a problem and the slippers move very well with my feet as I walk and they seem to hug my feet and stay on. The shoe salesman explained the slipper's orthotic features of arch support and a heel of proper height, which must have been among the reasons that the podiatrist said this was the only slipper that would help my tendonitis. And he was so very right. I absolutely love them and wear them all day if I am home. I cannot envision living without the help these slippers have been to my foot health and, just in case the manufacturer decides to discontinue them (which is what usually happens when I find something I really need or love), I am ordering another pair -- immediately!

Superior support but...
I bought these slippers (they're really more like "mules" than slippers) to help with my plantar fasciitis, and after only three days, I can feel a significant difference in my foot pain. The arch support is fantastic, and it doesn't hurt my feet like some orthotic insoles or shoes can. However, the fit is wide - and I have a medium-width to wide foot. The length is just right though. I am a true size 9 and these are a perfect fit - except for the width of course. I'll wear socks with them when it gets colder - which will take care of the width a little. Having said that, I'd rather them be too wide than too narrow. These slippers are also very VERY warm - which is fine if you have cold feet and live in a cold climate. But I live in sub-tropical Charleston, SC where it's mid-October and we still have the A/C blasting. Another few weeks and I'll be grateful for their warmth, but until then, I have to take them off every 15 minutes and let my feet breathe. I can tell already I'll be using antiperspirant on my feet when I wear these slippers. :)Finally, because of the design and width of these slippers, they look big and clunky on my feet. In other words, they're ugly. LOL. If, like me, you don't care how they look, you won't mind. I'll only wear them around the house anyway, and I bought them for support, which I was NOT getting from the traditional slippers, slipper-socks, casual shoes, flip-flops, and Uggs I was wearing at home.In summary, I'm glad I spent the extra $$ for these quality-made slippers. Being pain-free is worth more than money AND looks.

My feet love these slippers
Vionic makes high quality shoes, boots and slippers. I own many pairs. The Vionic Gemma Mule Slipper is by far my favorite of the brand. Anytime my foot isn't in a shoe, they are in these slippers. I initially bought these to help with a plantar fasciitis flare up a few years ago. Great arch support....super soft....and kind of cute for a slipper. The hard sole allows you step outside if needed. I am on my 4th pair. I replace them about every six months since I wear them daily.

If you are a half size, order down
They're good. A bit too big as it turns out but I'm keeping them as they are fine for working at my standing desk. I'll get another for walking around the house. The arch support is a real help

Has the arch support I need.
A bit wide for me but that's because my feet are not on the wide side. I love the arch support though and it keeps my feet warm. Over all I'm happy with the product.
