Great book!
This book is a keeper for all EC educators! So much information in such a small amount of pages. It was well thought out to navigate and read easily.

While it's an important book and has a plethora of good information....
While it's an important book and has a plethora of good information, it also has a good amount of anti-white rhetoric. One chapter was so full of it that I thought "There has to be some question on the test like that" and sure enough they asked a question that had a negative implication towards 'Europian Americans'.They give examples like saying that a child might say(Word for word) "I don't like ___ because she doesn't speak english" Which is not how a child would say that(They might say "I don't want to play with her because she doesn't speak english" which makes sense.). Or how about "___ has funny eyes"How about straight up making an example saying "I think ___ is racist, she put all the African American boys in the lowest reading class"Be assured, there isn't much in the way of being 'fair' and 'culturally sensitive' like the book is attempting to promote. The examples that pin other races in a negative light are few and far between, other than making a note that ALL teachers were found to view children of their own race as less disruptive or less aggressive than children of other races.Once again, it's a wonderful book with astounding information, but do make sure to not get roped into the agenda that's very obviously being pushed.
