When I moved and didn’t have anywhere to hang my deer this was the perfect solution. Being able to just easily plug this in to the hitch and hang a deer is awesome.This thing is rock solid, functions perfectly, I was nervous about how sturdy it would be but there is no problem with stability, it’s very well made.I also like how it can be broken down and stored without taking up much space.

I have read all the reviews before buying.1. The box looked like it was drug here from China.I didn’t buy the box. The product inside was just as I had ordered. It is a great deer lift.2. The instructions are bad?I am a man. I don’t know how to read instruction. If I had read them I sure would never admit it. FYI it didn’t have any instructions. I had it put together in 5 minutes or less.3. Missing parts?As always when I put together anything over engineered I had extra parts. They simply aren’t necessary.This is a product that looks and does just as it says. Nothing more nothing less. Do not have high expectations and you will not be disappointed. Hope this helps.

Good heavy wall steel tubing, comes with 2 gambrel legs (1 small 1 large) easy to put together, but was missing the bottom swivel washer and cotter pin had to make my own washer since it’s a very large shaft washer, but shouldn’t be too hard to find at local hardware store if yours is missing too.

Was pleasantly surprised at the Quality of construction and materials. Actually very heavy and durable with thick gauge steel. Haven't used it yet but put it together and was very impressed. For the price there's absolutely no question whatsoever.

Does not fit a gator well. Cannot open tailgate when installed. Does not swivel with a 200lb deer on the gambrel. Not a snug fit in a 2” hitch. Was missing parts and the manufacturer sent 20.00 in credit as opposed to sending parts. Overall kind of a disappointment.

This thing is handy dandy. Purchased for my husband because he is getting older and has a bad back but refuses to give up hunting. This gadget makes it easy for him to load a deer in his truck.

I'm about to go into town to get the stuff that was supposed to be in my parts in order to complete the assembly of the hoist. I'm sure it will work fine when I'm done, but it annoys me considerably that nobody in quality control took the time to make sure all the parts were in the package! Also, the instructions are a study in gray against black. The written instructions are helpful, but it's difficult to see what gray blob (b) or (d) or (f) is really showing. It may not matter if you've put a lot of hoists together. This is my first. The seller should assume the majority of its customers are a bunch of firsters like myself, some maybe even worse.
