Autodesk Inventor 2013 and Autodesk Inventor LT 2013 Essentials 1st Edition

I have to say the jargon is tremendous and the software is evolving endlessly. So if you're going to get into it then plan it to be a continuous learning experience. Otherwise AutoCad Inventor is the model of the industry and awesome to perform.

This is a book that can get you started to the introduction into AutoDesk , very useful and it would help anyone alot

I'm not impressed.- First, I've already run across a half dozen misdirections and errors in references. But even when correct, the author fails to tell us "why" we're doing what we're doing. This leaves me feeling like the proverbial monkey (of "monkey-see-monkey-do" fame).- The author may be very good as an Inventor user, but his writing skill simply doesn't rise to the occasion. His use of passive voice sentences leaves me crying for some sort of engagement. As a reader/student, I'm part of the process; please treat me as such. Don't just lecture (with often incorrect information) ... ENGAGE!!- Two sections in Chapter 5 (Changing a Color Style and Defining a New Material) just flat don't work. They may reference a prior release of Inventor, but options we're instructed to select simply don't exist in the dialog box presented.- Someone should have gone through the files before releasing them to the public. At least twice in the first two lessons, I've found that what I was instructed to do had already been done. You need a clean set of files to begin the book properly, and you don't get it.In short, this might have been a good book, but it wasn't proofed properly or completely. Too bad. I'm afraid I can't recommend it.

It is a great tutorial with very good printed graphics, and online example practice files. I have been using this book and others to learn enough for certification

So glad to be done with Autodesk product! Made the switch to SketchUp Pro this year. The closest program I've found to true open source CAD and it is awesome! It also has free plugins that allow for radically simpler compound shapes almost instantly. I hope to never purchase Autodesk product again. That's 25 seats. SketchUp is so easy to use textbooks are used for reference, not to learn how to operate the program.

This book was excellent. Had both hand on materials (separate download) to use or follow along with during your reading.this book covered all area fairly well. I used the book for about 1 month.

Not a beginner book, cool to look at but worthless unless you know what your doing. It sits on the shelf

It is not what I expected, I want it to learn how to use it but this is way to advance

Ez a könyv kell a teljesen kezdőknek, mint én. Autodidakta módon lehet belőle megtanulni az alapokat. Az eszközök útvonalát kicsit körülményesen írja le, de mindig ott van a szöveg mellett a kis ikonja, hogy pontosan melyikről van szó.
