My two grandchildren are Lego nuts. they always want these for presents, so I purchased this one for my grandson. It is, as Lego always is, an engineering marvel when all together. And this one has a light in the top of the lighthouse that is really cute for "saving the dolphins." My only issue with Lego is I find the prices out continuing to get more and more prohibitive, especially for grandparents on fixed incomes. Also, I have NO idea why lego can't come up with a box that you can actually use to store these in between uses. We have to order clear cheap plastic shoeboxes to keep them all in, but then you have to cut out the cardboard pictures from the box for them to get ideas from and it's a pain. Of course quality is always good and a toy they can play with over and over again.

My granddaughters loved this set! Legos do a great job of coming up with timely, creative kits to engage children of all ages.

Great set, my daughter loves the friends collection and everything ocean related. This was very easy to assemble, color are beautiful, very nice details and fun accessories. Great Christmas present

Like most other reviews, I agree this set has true 'play' value. We were very impressed with the quantity of sea life included and finding a favorite is impossible. This set also ties together other sets in our Lego world and in many cases for the 'friends' editions it breathes new life in some past sets that were too narrowly focused for extended play. The Amazon price beat all local store pricing by about $15, that is probably partly due to Alaska being a little removed from reality but regardless it was a terrific value!

This was a Christmas purchase for the kids and they love it. It includes a couple of the Lego friends as well as some animal characters they flipped out over. The set itself was a little too complicated for the 5yo to set up, but the instructions included were thorough and once my wife built it, the kids had a blast playing with it. It's a central piece in their little Lego village.

My 8 year old loves Lego sets and has done a ton, including the these Lego Friends series. This is one of the best ones because of all the details and accessories. All the little rooms are outfitted well, there is a working light for the lighthouse, and it even has some additional pieces like the boat and island.

Bought this set for my kids at Christmas. They love it. It's one of the sets that has stayed together which usually means they love playing with the rescue center.Pros:- Easy to build- Hours of fun- Has cool animals included

Our 10-year-old daughter enjoys the Lego Friends series of kits and every birthday or Christmas, I try to get her a bigger and more challenging set.
