Many start a negative review with "I wanted to like this product." My experience goes the opposite: I originally thought this collar wouldn't work out. I supposed it had been made in the USA. (It isn't.) It also didn't come with the ingredients attached to the can or inside on a small paper. (I thought that would have been nice. I know the ingredients are available here on Amazon, but to include the ingredients would have, I think, sent off better vibes.)To cut to the chase, the collar absolutely works. My little pup had been absolutely plagued by fleas for a couple of weeks. Nothing was working, and I didn't wish to use chemically laden collars or medications on him. I opted for something natural, so I ordered this collar. The day it arrived, a week ago, I bathed my dog in coconut/oatmeal dog shampoo, deliberately not using the natural anti-flea shampoo as an experiment to see how effective the Lordddon collar would be.Well, I couldn't believe the results. After picking off 20+ dying fleas after the shampoo, I put the collar on him. By the next day, I counted one or two fleas. Three days on, I didn't see any fleas. Yesterday and today, there was one flea, maybe two, on him, not a big deal. My 14-year-old Maltese had whimpered from having to constantly scratch himself; now he goes through the day and sleeps through the night without scratching himself into a frenzy.I'm very, very pleased with this product, and as it stands now, unless anything changes, I'd purchase it again.

This product...do NOT use it!I put in my cat and after a while, he seemed to have lost all of his energy. Hehad this drowsy look on his face, and looked so tired to the point he he could barely keep his eyes open, and kept going to sleep.So because of that, I took the collar off, and soon after he returned to his normal energetic self.But later on because he started scratching again, I thought maybe it wasn't the collar that had a strange effect on him, and gave it another try and went to bed.The next day I woke up looking for my fur baby, and didn't see him running around. I thought maybe he was down stairs, but he wasn't. So then I went to check one of the bedrooms. That's when I found him in the same state he was in before when he had the collar on. Once again, he had that drowsy tired look, could barely can keep his eyes open, and was abnormally sleepy. The way he looked scared me. I immediately picked him up and took him in the other room where his food was. I put him down, and he went to his bowl where he started eating ravenously...as if he were starving. He had been so tired that he couldn't even get up to go eat his food despite the fact that he was hungry. After, I saw that, I took that freaking collar off. I will not be putting it on him again! I am sending it back asap.Btw, I went and looked up the ingredients in this product, which is cedar oil, lemongrass and something else. Cedar oil is toxic to cats. That is probably what was causing that frightening effect on my cat.So if you love your cats, please do not use this product on them.

We have a 14 year old 21Lb min pin and are very cautious about what we put on him. After some digging my wife had me order this one. We spend a lot of time outdoors, in the woods and on the water and he goes everywhere with us so we needed something long lasting and natural but also affective. It's our first time using this particular collar and are happy to report we haven't had to remove a single tick or flea nor did we have trouble with mosquitos or lice either. My little guy has been rocking his collar for well over 4 months now (since 5/15). I'll surely use this again next year.

I was skeptical about buying this collar for my two dogs. They are on flea meds but with the fleas being bad they needed extra. For the price if they didn’t work I wouldn’t be out much money. I put them on as soon as they came in. They have not been scratching, or gnawing since and no fleas! This product really works! My dogs and I are happy!

This collar keeps most of the fleas off of my cat which is good. I have purchased it more than once for this reason. However, I always dread having to put a new one on my cat. The instructions on the tin are very small and hard to read. They don’t contain a lot of helpful info either. I struggle trying to loop it together so it will stay on my cat but won’t choke him either. This time I left it too loose I guess because my cat went outside and came back later without it on. It sucks that it is so hard to put and keep on because it really does keep fleas away.

This flea collar is great, there is no chemical odor to the collar at all. I love the adjustable design that is on the collar, I feel like it's more secure on my cats and they don't even mind wearing them. The tin that the collar comes in is so hard to open though, I had to pry the side of the tin open with a flathead screwdriver and almost took off a chunk of skin in the processUPDATE! I changed my 4-star rating to a 3-star rating because something happened with the flea collars last night. I bought 2 flea collars for my cats back at the beginning of October 2019. One of the features in the description was that these collars provided protection for 8 months.....LIES. I'm updating my review because I think you all need to know this before dropping $36 on a flea collar for your fur baby. Last night I noticed the collars were off of my cats. They broke off! Well, I can't put them back on because THEY BROKE IN HALF! I'm so upset, it's only been 4 months! I hope this helps anyone's decision. I wouldn't buy them if I was you.

We have a really bad flea problem where we live. I have tried almost all of the OTC flea products out there, topicals, chews and collars. I was very skeptical about buying this but I am glad I did because, IT ACTUALLY WORKS!!! My dog has been wearing it for about a week now and he hasn't been scratching, he is sleeping better and because of that, I am sleeping better. I would recommend this collar to anyone!!
