2009 debut full-length album from New Jersey quartet. Real Estate play sun-streaked Psych/Indie Pop reminiscent of the Feelies, Yo La Tengo and other like-minded outfits. Guitarist Matt Mondanile also plays in Ducktails and Predator Vision (Not Not Fun).

Pretty Good
This is a pretty good lo-fi album. It reminds me of a little bit of 'let it be' era replacements mixed with a little modest mouse. I really like that the vocals are in the bottom of the mix and are hardly audible. I think this is great because you have to strain to hear the words witch makes them more important. I did find that some of the songs were a little to sparse and repetitive but on a whole it was a good listening experience.

I'm enjoying this
This is a very pleasant debut. It's got jangly guitars such as you might hear in the Trashcan Sinatras, it's got vocal harmonies such as you might hear in Dr. Dog or Grizzly Bear, and it's got just a tinge of the darkness you might hear in The National. Very glad to have downloaded this, and I look forward to more.

Awesome Shoegaze/Surfer Rock for a Summer Day
I came across this album thanks to an episode of How I Met Your Mother which featured the lead track, "Beach Comber".I love the sound of this band- it's as if they just dropped a mic in the middle of a warehouse and started playing. Their music conjures up images of a warm sunny day just hanging out by the beach. It's a definite go-to record whenever I feel stressed out.The three major stand-out tracks are "Beach Comber", "Fake Blues", and "Green River".Unfortunately, this album does take a bit of an energy nose-dive right from the get-go. "Beach Comber" has a fairly peppy sound to it, but the energy fades off during "Pool Swimmers" and doesn't come back until "Fake Blues". Track order aside, this is still a pretty solid album and a high recommendation if you're a fan of surfer rock, or just want some good tunes to chill out to while driving on a sunny summer day.

great debut album
Real Estate brings a sound that should be familiar to indie rock fans, but it never really feels old. Definitely a band to watch out for in the future.

Chill sun-rays
Load up your portable vinyl record player and best headphones, lay out your best beach towel and soak it all in. This record is perfect for a lazy day on the beach, or a lonely night staring at your magnet collection. Don't read this, just listen....

Great Band!
It received an okay rating just because it fails to compare to "Days". Excellent band, love their sound. This is a band to follow over their careers!

Got Real Estate?
Good earlier LP shows how this band has developed to become the great band that they are today.

Entspannender Gitarrensound
Real Estate das ist ein super entspannender Gitarrensound, den man so noch nicht gehört hat. Passt gut für die Entspannung on the Beach. Einziger Wermutstropfen ist der für mich etwas verwaschen Sound! Aber trotzdem cool!
