Owen Mumford AT1044 Unistik 3 Pre-Set Safety Lancet, Comfort, 28 g Purple (Pack of 200)

This product is excellent for regular blood glucose monitoring for people with diabetes. The picture is not as deep but draws enough blood for the testing strips.

I really despise being pricked for blood samples. I found out about this at my endocrinologist's clinic. They were using the 30 gauge version, though. It was painless, but the nurse had to try 3 times to get the ample amount of sample. I asked what gauge they are using. I found out on the internet that the white body with purple cap is 30 gauge. I ordered the 28 gauge (larger diameter needle) from Amazon.com even though my medical insurance covers this brand and model lancets. I am the kind of person that say "I wanted it yesterday". I just couldn't wait. I was so impressed of the almost painless using it and I don't have to squeeze my finger so hard to get a good amount of sample. In fact, I even look forward to poking my fingers every morning like a macho man. Get the 28 gauge. It works all the time without any failure, so far.

Easy to use and handy enough to lead an active life style.

I was in my doctors office and saw that they were using this lancet. I ask about them and decided to order them. They are so handy. I put a few of them in my purse and they do not takeup any room at all. I have a fresh needle each time. I would use the others for 5-6 times and this way i only use them once and throw away. I recommend these because they are so handy and easy to carry and dispose of. When you dispose of these the needle does not show to poke anyone else. I love these and will definately be ordering more.;

Have been using this product for years. Have found it to be the easiest to use and the least uncomfortable. Great product.

I have a nurse friend that recommended these after one of my staff kept leaving used lancets in for other staff. The single use lancet works well mf has eliminated this worry. Thank you for this ingenious product! We are much safer with these as an alternative

These lancers are great, the only issue I have found with the is that you cannot just twist the white cap once and pull it because you will loose the spring tension. Twist the white cap a couple of turns and then it releases cleanly. I first saw my doctor use then and there were lest painful than the freestyle lancer that i was using so I switched to these and am very happy.

Nurses used it on me while I was in the hospital. Didn't feel it. "Borrowed" a few to take home to my wife who was using something similar. She was very happy with what she had but was ecstatic with the Unistik 3.
