It is an interesting product, but unfortunately not very durable. The black rim has detached from the transparent base on one side, so now it is not very safe to use while biking: if it detaches further, the phone would fall out of the case.

So I received this a few weeks ago and it was near useless: the stem bolt wasn't long enough, and I had to use zip ties to keep it from bouncing around. I didn't understand why it was getting such great reviews. After some correspondance with the manufacturer they sent me a new one which arrived today. It came with a longer stem bolt and a grooved stem cap, neither of which came with the first package. Took the old one off, installed the new one with the included stem bolt and cap and it makes a huge difference. I'll have to wait and see how the tension holds up on the hinge after some riding, but as of now I feel pretty confident. Customer service was spot on as well. Thanks.

It's pretty good. The provided case has become my default phone case. The biggest problem is that it rattles a lot. Any little bump will make the thing squeak and jump and tap on the stem. It's also pretty heavy so the weight penalty should be considered for serious cyclists.

It's good but I have one for my iPhone5 which came with the rain cover for inclimate weather. Which I would have received one for my iPhone 6. Can't see why it doesn't come with one like the 5 did.

This is not the kind of mount that attaches with tape, cable ties, or a clamp. You replace the stemcap bolt and cover with the one in this kit, and you get a snap-in mount (that rotates, nice feature) and a bumper case for your phone.I've had one of these before for an older phone and they're great - I use my phone as my bike computer, with a monitor attached to my chest for heart rate, and also a cadence and wheel rotation sensor. It's a great system, and also nice for changing tunes for your wireless headset, and (just maybe) making a phone call. The phone snaps in very securely to the case, and the case has a rail in the back that locks into the slide attached to your stem. It's going nowhere while it's attached to the rail - there's even a little clip thing that ratchets down to stop the case from slipping unless you pull it back.If you like a secure, no wobble phone mount, this is a perfect choice. Jebsens got this too me even faster than the promised date - I'll definitely be considering them again for other supplies.

UPDATED REVIEW: shame on me. I bought this same mount three times (bc the case continues to separate from the back). 3 cases in 2 years and the third just broke as well. Initial function and value isn't a replacement for duration of quality. Really poor material/manufacturing. I would not recommend given the variety of higher quality options that exist in the market. PREVIOUS REVIEW: I really like the case-connection but it's not durable enough for a daily commuter. I've order two in one year. The first replacement was to replace the phone case (that worn out, corners broke free) and now the most recent break occurred at the bikes mounting bracket. Great design - only average durability.

This is the one to buy. After looking at many options this one really is excellent. Highly recommend. CONS - this really is just a phone holder. There is no cover on the case at all, much less being waterproof. I always keep a ziplock along just in case. It also will only fit the phone itself, not your everyday case. PROS - This is really well made, all metal connector and arm. It is securely attached to the handle bar stem. It comes with a case so if you stop you can take your phone with you. I switch between my regular case and this case or each ride without any problem. It adjusts from portrait to landscape easily and you can adjust the angle for viewing too. Finally, this is very small - just the size of your phone basically. Most others I reviewed are quite large and that was a deal breaker for me.

At first I really like the product. I did have some reservations when I first got it that the clip was a little flimsy. Well I used it for about a month and now the clip broke. Would not recommend this product to people. Two stars for the concept and price.
