The directions help a lot with opening
This item has really helped me during those times where I'm rushing and have accidentally locked myself out the house. Very convenient. I use it for a spare house and car key. It is not big enough to fit larger keys or fobs

Unable to Make the Lock Work - No Support
We set the code on the lock, but it would not open despite working on it for several hours. The instructions give no support web site or phone number. The box gives no indication of the manufacturer. We will be returning this item.

This Lock Box did the job.
This item was given to my Brother-in-Law.I have bought others for my dad that were name brand, but for the price it did the job.I should warn you at first it may feel a little cheap, but the true bones of the Lock Box is strong. After closer inspection of the design you way find the same quality as the name brand locks. The internal lock is every bit as strong as others. The only issue I might have is with the buttons or should I say button covers, they are plastic and make them feel cheap. But work as promised.Would I recommend it? Yes. If they are will to work that hard to get the key out, they would have to be dumb. It would be easier to break the door lock or a window.

economical, not for commercial/professional IMO - inner plastic lock plate was chipped from factory
I bought this to hide an emergency key to an elderly relative. Let's be clear, I would not trust this to be out in the open front rails like normal realtors do. The lock body itself seems sturdy, the lock arm is thinner than a i.e. Master Lock Heavy duty's. To be fair though, they are just as thick as the Kiddie comparable ones.Inside, there is a spring latch that releases the u bar for hooking onto whatever. The front keypad is the whole body that opens and closes to the shell body itself. The shell body seems sturdy enough. The key pad and lock mechanism is not refined. It will do but certainly does not hook in deeply as major brands would. Can it be cut by bolt cutters? - Yes, probably shorter handled ones at thatIs it waterproof? No, resistant maybe. I wouldn't lay it in the grass during a heavy rainstorm. Hanging off the side rail not in plain view..should be ok.Is it easy to set? Yes, it has a little key tool to help so you don't need a screwdriver right out the box.Is it easy to use? Pretty straightforward to get in and out of the inside Will it rust? Time will tell, will update. It does hand a rubberized coating over the body and the U portion of the hook but it does not continue to make a tight seal to the body so I would likely spray WD40 in there from time to time to keep it from seizing and retard rust.Would I buy it again? Debatable. Again, depends on your placement and level of comfort/protection. Otherwise, you'll pay double or triple the price for realtor type quality.Update: I had an issue with my original lock, the seller CCYX was very very prompt and excellent at resolving the issue. Good seller.

Good lock box
This is a good luck box, easy to setup and change codes. I don't use the rotary drum type because people can forget to scramble the code. This type i find to be much more secure. Plenty of space for up to 3 keys and you can clip to the kepad/door which comes completely off when opended. I find that to be a good feature as you don't have to remove the box to reset the code. Only complaint is that the grey rubber outer part that is intended to protect the door/wall falls off when you open it. But a dab of glue or 2 sided tape fixes that
