Love the patterns and step by step instructions in the book. Very helpful for a beginner like me.

This is filled with challenging patterns for the intermediate and advanced intarsia artist. There are good demonstrations and photos to help the wood worker do sample projects. The only criticism is that some of the woods will be difficult to find for the average person. In some cases, natural woods and paints/stains are used together, which is not in my taste.

All the patterns are good and the explanations very thorough. I’m looking forward very much to using and learning to do intarsia for special gifts to friends.

I like the ability to have some practice designs in the back of the book, but I am new to this and still didn't find this to be helpful. Not much useful information, most of this information is easily found online. All these type of books have the same information in it and similar practice designs, if you have 1 already there's no need for another

Takes me a long time to make an intarsia project, but it's worth it. You may use several different kinds of wood and that can get expensive, if you have to buy it. Her second book is just as good. I also get emails from her and have bought patterns directly from her.

Il libro può considerarsi un secondo volume rispetto a Intarsia Woodworking for Beginner, infatti riparte da progetti medio piccoli fino a opere più complesse sempre della stessa artista.Se fate una ricerca su Google, buona parte delle immagini propongono opere di Kathy Wise, molte sono presenti in questo e nel volume precedente.
