If you like a trim fit, I'd suggest a size down - I normally wear a small, but the torso is very roomy and the arms even moreso. However, I actually like baginess in this case (it looks stylistic as opposed to ill-fitting), so I won't be exhanging it - for this price, I'll probably end up ordering another in XS in the future.The piece is so light and thin that when you open the package (which arrived in 3 business days), you'll probably get the impression that the fabric is cheap and flimsy. Once you put it on, though, it's very clearly well-made and sturdy, and while it's certainly not a tuxedo, it looks nice, as far as hoodies go. The fabric is very breathable and works for a variety of environments - I wear it at work, where the heat only works in some of the rooms, and don't end up freezing or overheated. Also, the zipper is the same color as the rest of the hoodie, and there aren't any silver bits anywhere, so if that's something you've been looking for, this is the place to find it.There's a couple other things to note about this hoodie - one is that when I tried to zip it up, I felt like the zipper was weak and going to break, but got it on after some fumbling; every time after that, it's zipped up without a hitch and has held up just fine, so I don't know if I had to 'break it in' or if it was just my own clumsiness. The other thing is that the shoulder seams are 'chunky', which is hard to tell from the photos. I don't mind it, but others might.I tried to answer all of the questions I had but didn't bother asking before purchasing this, so hopefully this helps someone!

Purchased two of these for hubby (3x)…blue and black. Fit as expected (he doesn’t zip his…would need 4x to zip easily), comfortable, perfect for the cool CA weather. Only issue is the black hoodie is a lint magnet. Washed in cold, hung dry…used 6 lint brush sheets “trying” to get lint off but it only minimized the lint, not completely. Will try washing again to see if that helps. No issue with the royal blue jacket. Would purchase again being mindful to wash only with other tees.

This is exactly what I was looking for, a hoodie design made out of T-shirt material so I can use it during the summer! The sizing on them is a bit snug as a lot of reviews already discussed. I got the 3X size when I get a 2X normally and it fits just fine.The only thing that I am not crazy about is the zipper pull is extremely tiny, and can be a pain in the butt to get lined up correctly to zip. I wish the zipper was a bit nicer considering the price of the product.It is however very nice and thin like a tshirt. I tend to throw on a hoodie when taking my dogs out, so this will be very nice in the summer to be able to toss on as intended. The arms of the design are a bit long, so I am considering removing the arms. Over all very happy with this.

Liked it used to wear in cool weather

My son likes to layer but it’s tough in the summer. This gives him the option to layer without the weight of a jacket. He likes it and wears often.

You would be surprised at how long I've been searching for a thin, lightweight hoodie. If you want a hoodie that's medium-weight, heavy-weight, or lined with polar bear fur, you're golden. No problem, partner. You want something super thin? Ehhh....Good luck! It really is surprising how difficult it can be. That being said, I was overjoyed when I discovered this hoodie from Cottonhood. The price was right and it seemed to be what I've been looking for. However, my state of hoodie-induced euphoria came to an abrupt and devastating end when I actually tried the darn thing on. I normally wear a 2X in hoodies and, because of the warnings by other reviewers, I ordered a size up just in case. All I can say is if you dream of pretending to be a superhero and running around town wearing a skin-tight, rib-revealing cotton outfit, then this is the hoodie for you! Want a normally sized hoodie instead? Order two or even three sizes bigger. Do that and you'll be happy. Otherwise, have fun showing off your spleen to the rest of the world!

This is a thin cotton material, and not a winter/autumn wear. At best can wear it in summers low AC temperatures. Got my size, but it fit my body perfectly but the sleeves are too long. maybe some issue with the cloth ratios while stitching. The zip open up left side instead of right, which might be good for left handed people but not for me. Also the zip doesn't seem very high quality. Wont return it though, keeping it for when the room gets cold in summers

Purchased for my husband who works in Lowes garden center. Works well for the in between weather and when going inside to AC after being in 100 degrees outside.
