Ahnu Women's Karma Flat

My 2nd pair of Ahnu work shoes. I have wide feet and fat toes and usually wear EU39-40, US9-9.5 (depend on if I would wear it with socks) I ordered 9.5 as I did with the 1st pair and they fit well with my feet. My right foot is half size bigger than my left foot so 9.5 are just big enough for my right foot and also leave some room for air circulation. My work require me standing / moving for long period time, so half way to my shift, my feet usually get a little bit puffy and sweatey, and that half size will give me the comfort that I need to finish my day. I purchased the smokey brown and the color matches the picture on Amazon. The material seems like it goes well with business causal/professional. It is a semi soft material so overtime it may soften up like leather? Can't tell you the result since I only have them for a few days. But for me, I don't need to break in the shoes, they just fit perfectly for my feet.

I bought both these and the Merrell Women's Wonder Glove Barefoot Shoes with the intention of keeping only one (thank you returns for Amazon Prime). The Ahnu won hands down.I was very surprised and very pleased with my first Ahnu purchase. I have several Merrell shoes, including their minimalist running shoes and didn't expect the results.I am a sometimes 7.5, sometimes 8, always 38 (euro) foot. I bought the 7.5 in the Ahnu and at first thought it might be a little tight, but after a couple of days realized it was perfect. I've had them over a month and they are my new go-to shoe.Appropriate for casual work and perfect for mommy-duties and errands. I've worn them all day for shopping, work, etc. and had no problem with the support they give (keep in mind, I'm a barefoot girl at heart).They were also wonderful to throw in my carry-on for a work trip to have casual (read: non-heels) shoes without taking up much space. Another plus.I bought the plum and when I came back today to buy another color I figured I'd wow you strangers with a very non-pithy review on why this shoe was worth $90ish. The only time I spend that much on shoes is for running (shoulda bought stock in Asics) and boots that I think will last me many seasons. I'm the queen of discounted shoes and pride myself in finding deals and never spending more than $40 (which includes some danskos and soffts). These are my new dirty secret to my frugal shoe habit.

These shoes are comfortable and lightweight right off the bat. I am leaving a review due to the inconsistency in color for Silver Sage. I ordered size 10 and ended up wanting to get the 9.5 size. When I got the 9.5 in - it is more green than the first pair I received. In my case I prefer the color of the first pair but the 9.5 fits way better. The footbed even feels more comfortable. I would expect more consistency from a shoe at this price point.

I have a very difficult time finding shoes that fit my feet, so I was hesitant to purchase these. However, I was desperate for some black flats that actually fit and looked decent. I think the only reason I went through with it was because I think I noticed free returns (just in case).So, these are the most comfortable shoes EVER! The fit is perfect. Like a crazy person, I put these on and went shopping all day in them. You just don't do that! But my feet were fine. No pain! Well, except for a small blister I developed on my pinky toe. But, I wore brand new shoes while shopping for hours. I wouldn't fault the shoes for that. I've worn these shoes almost every day since and they're just as comfortable, if not more. My only complaint is that the material the foot bed is made of sometimes makes my feet sweat. But with other shoes, I'd have an odor problem, and I've had none of that with these.One thing I really like is after purchasing these, I read about the company. They adhere to the Deckers Ethical Supply Chain Standards, which is the toughest standards in the labor industry. They offer a line of vegan shoes, use certified post-consumer recycled fibers in their catalogs and packaging (which I remember noticing when I pulled the recycled cardboard form out of the shoes). Their ethical, sustainable business practices have made a repeat customer out of me.

I LOVE these shoes! After the first day wearing them I know why so many reviewers owned more than one pair/color! If I were going on vacation these would be the only shoe I'd pack (and I'm a shoe girl). PERFECT shoe for fashionably chasing around my toddler! I don't have to dress like a tired mommy, just because I am a tired mommy! These have PLENTY of support - and I have bad joints, so I'm very picky! I can slip into them easily without sitting down and fighting with the straps, but they aren't slipping off unless I want them off. I wear a 9 1/2 shoe, but usually a 10 sandal - but these were perfect in a 9 1/2. I bought these to replace my privo's from several summers ago (which I wore into the ground). I think these will be loved even more!Follow up 5/8/2013:I had high hopes for these shoes as a daily "chase the kiddo" summer shoe. I have very sensitive feet in conjunction with daily joint pain - especially when I wear the wrong shoes even just around the house. That being said I have worn these shoes to the zoo on two occasions already this summer. One trip for over 3 hours, and the other for 1 1/2 hours. I left the zoo feeling like great - no aches, no pains - not even the pain I feel sometimes after wearing my running shoes for 3 hours on my feet. Moreover, throughout the day and those evenings I didn't have ANY joint pain. I'm amazed - I am on the verge of buying a few more pair just to get me through the summer. These are my go-to summer shoe. I don't need much more!

I really wish this shoe was a little more sturdy in the soul and arch support because it's very comfortable and cute. The size was spot on (no break-in callouses for me, luckily) and I love the color (green eyes) - I feel like it goes with everything! I went on an hour long walk once (not on a rigorous trail) and found that my feet were really not supported. They were sore the following day. If you use them for casual use, no biggie. But if you are looking for something to walk around Europe or on a hike, go somewhere else.
