Got these for my 8 yr old for a trip to Canada this summer. They were great for when we left early in the morning and it was cold and then got hot later in the afternoon. He loved taking the bottoms off! Haha. The size 8-9 worked well. They were a little loose but the adjustable belt was helpful and he will be able to get a lot of wear out of them.

For great, was worried about the sizing since my boys have small waists but with the belt they fit great. Not too loose or baggy

Boy Scouts rejoice! These are a great alternative to the official pants and have never been a problem in any uniform check for us. Running about 40% off of the official pants these run a touch small but absolutely do the job. Legs zip off and are lightweight enough for even the longest hikes.

My 14 yo hates wearing anything but sweatpants and shorts, but he felt comfortable in these for a recent hiking trip. Sturdy fabric, zip off and on easily when converting back and forth to shorts.

These appear to be really nice pants; I like that they come with a belt. They do run small. My son is 5 years old, 45 lbs, small waist, and normally wears a 4T in shorts and 4/5 in pants but these were too tight in the waist for him. One size up would have fit him.

They are true to fit. Perfect for my grandsons uniform.

We ordered the size 10 years for our 10-year-old, and the size was too small for him. We're going to try a size up and see how that goes.

My son joined boyscouts this year, and his leader suggested not buying the uniform pants from the store (they’re expensive and don’t last very long). I was hesitant to spend $35 on these, but I’m glad I did! 2 birds, 1 stone..he has shorts for summer and pants for winter. I love they came with a belt. My son is very slim and tall, but the size Medium fit him perfect with thee belt and still has a little growing room. Quality seems good, will update review if that changes. Only negative thing I have to say about them is that one side of the flap on the back pockets are sewn shut, other than that great purchase.
