Bought these because I wanted to have additional support for my weak ankles, but not so thick or heavy that my movement was limited.These are perfect! They provide excellent support, a no slip base, they are great quality overall and maintained their Integrity after several uses and wash cycles and good news their material makes them easy to clean.My class mates always are asking where I got my awesome socks! Worth it!I highly recommend these to anyone who needs quality ankle support while engaging in physical activities.

These are not thick shin guards. They are more like a sock with some padding. I’m 5”4’ 140lbs female with a size 7 foot. My calves are maybe a little bit more muscular than other ladies but not by much. I couldn’t even get the S/M past my ankle.I didn’t see anywhere on listing about it running small- which is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5.For light cushion, these are what you need.

I purchased the ankle guards for use in Krav Maga training to help reduce the sting and skin irritation with repetitive kicking of bags/pads. I also needed a little extra joint support for sparring. They are EXTREMELY comfortable and so not restricted movement but provide excellent protection to strike hard without worrying about getting bruises or blisters My only complaint is it is like wrestling an alligator to get them on and off because the fit is so snug BUT once in place, they do not shift, even on my small frame during sparring. And they look very nice as well. I’m so pleased with them, especially for the price!

These fitted the foot well, ankle was loose so didn’t really support. However the gel padding was well positioned. Tried a wearing them around the house for an hour to get used to them… but noticed the stitching on the gel pads was coming loose. So never took them to sparring cos they wouldn’t have lasted. Disappointing.

I started a Kick boxing class, super fun (and HARD!), but I got sores on the tops of my feet. Neither Band-aids nor socks were really providing protection. I've been wearing these for a couple weeks now. Game changer! Washing after two uses. They offer ankle stability AND cushion the blow of my kicks on the tops of my feet. I can kick hard again! I wear a Womens 11 and the L/XL fits nicely.

I'm 6' 2", 225#, size 11 1/2-12w shoe, and finding some gear to fit right for me can be iffy. These XLs are very snug getting on but for me that's perfect-Great padding, and the instep support is awesome with these! Will be getting a few more pair to rotate use

Soy del 25 mx y tengo un pie mas delgado que robusto. Compré la talla s/m y la verdad quedo SUUUUPER justo. Lo cual a mi me gusta pero si tienes un pie gordito y arriba del 25 mejor ve por las talla G.

Muy buena calidad, pero la talla S/M queda justa, se puede usar sin problema, aunque recomendaría una que existiera una más grande, creo que es la unica

These are a great idea and the material they use seems good, but even though I followed the size guide they are too loose to be use useful as compression support, and there's no padding on the ankle joint only the top of the foot and lower ankle so when you're learning to gauge your kicking distance in sparring you can still be injured by striking the ankle joint on something hard.I wouldn't recommend until they fix the sizing and padding designs in a newer model. Not worth the money get a traditional ankle sleeve.

Really excellent product. Many design elements have been incorporated into the product. My complements to the designers. Very comfortable to wear and appears of quality materials. I have not tried these out in the ring yet but will at Muay Thai tonight.
