Very comfortable to wear and fits perfectly

Used it this weekend for kayaking. Lightweight, ease of movement. Felt safe in the water. Nice features- LOVE the large pocket that I could stash a small bottle of sunscreen, emergency lighter, and my lip balm! Great PFD

Haven't tried it in water yet, but the fit was very good. I measured my chest and picked the appropriate size off the chart, worked like a charm. Feels lightweight, has the ventilation areas, and range of motion seems really good. I'm in Georgia so hot weather is the norm in summer. We'll see how well I like it after a kayak trip or two...more to come. Update June 24, 2019: took a 4 hour kayak trip down the Chattahochee River, the vest was very comfortable even though I did have to unzip the front during smooth water to keep from getting too hot. The vents in the front are good in theory, but the padding is so thick that it closes on itself on the inside and stops air flow though. Still a nice vest though and worth the purchase.

I don't have a lot of experience with other life jackets, but I can promise this is the best life jacket you could buy at this price. It's very low profile and comfortable to wear and it doesn't get bunched up or annoying. I do wish the pocket was a little bigger, but that is the only "flaw" so far. I bought this during quarantine and I was nervous because I hate online shopping, but I took the risk and it turned out worth it. I bought the "L/XL" and it fits like a charm. I am 180lbs, 6'0ft tall and wear a suit jacket size 42. If you want the PFD to be suuuuper tight, you can adjust the straps, or, if you want it loose, you can make it happen. In conclusion, just buy it already.

This is the first paddle vest I've owned, as I've only used traditional life jackets. It's easy to adjust and get a good fit. I use it paddleboarding and is comfortable and easy to move in whether I'm standing or sitting. The attached whistle in the pocket is great since I'm good at losing emergency whistles! I hate wearing life vests, but I have super low lung capacity currently and am concerned about being able to expend a lot of energy for long in an emergency situation. My first time with this jacket proved its worth and may have saved my life. I took an unexpected spill into frigid, choppy water and while I'm a decent swimmer, the cold water took my breath and energy quickly. Thanks to this vest, I was able to stay afloat through the multiple attempts it took to stabilize and get back on my board and keep my paddle from going downriver. I was also pleased to discover when I took the vest off, my sunglasses had been caught inside the vest and kept safe after thinking they had met their fate at the bottom of the river.

I’ve been using the Onyx MoveVent Dynamic life jacket for kayak fishing, and it’s easily one of the best choices out there for paddlers. What really makes it perfect is the high-back design — there’s no thick padding on the lower back, so it doesn’t interfere with my kayak seat at all. I can fish for hours without feeling cramped or uncomfortable. The mesh lower back keeps it breathable, and it stays in place without riding up when paddling or casting. The front zipper, adjustable straps, and pockets are all well thought out too. It fits securely without restricting movement. If you’re kayak fishing or paddling with a high-back seat, this PFD is a game changer. Highly recommended.

Its a little bit bulkier than some of the more expensive ones that are more than twice the price, but not enough that it matters. It is well vented and i dont get hot while yaking the lakes of FL. Has multiple tabs for a custom fit. Tried it out on quick dip into pool and it definitely keeps my head above water if needed for its intended purpose...a life preserver. I hope this review will encourage more to buy/wear. My heart breaks every time I hear that someone drowned needlessly after falling out of a canoe or kayak. Three I've read or heard about in past year alone...so get it and wear it no matter how good a swimmer you are! So paddle on and be safe with this affordable option!💓🚣‍♀️

Fantastic! I was nervous buying one of these online, but it worked out just fine!. This fits well, the sizing chart was spot on and because it can be adjusted there's room for some error. I use this on my paddleboard in deep or moving water and I feel comfortable in it, and find it easy to move..

Good fit, comfortable

Comfortable and light. Seems like good quality. Great for paddle boarding so far, I’ve only done a bit of sit-down paddling. I don’t even notice it’s on while paddling now. When I first put it on I was worried, because I realized it is NOT female specific and it did NOT fit my body well. However, I was able to read some advice, adjust the body straps, then the shoulder straps, and it’s now very comfortable and secure. The way the chest floatation pads are put together, they can be adjusted downward to leave room for a larger chest. My only gripe, which is why it lost points, is that there is no strap wrapping all the way around the body - only the zipper holds it closed. There really should be a secondary way of securing it in case the zipper breaks. I paid 120$ Canadian so am a bit disappointed by that. I’ve also floated on my back on it for why-not and it felt good, like I said I have it adjusted so it doesn’t shift. Most photos on here show a very unsafe fit - if you can pull the life vest up, it’s not secure, it is an anti-safety device. If you’re wearing this for safety, and not just to adhere to laws, it HAS to be snug around your ribs/lower torso, especially if you have a large chest - having it tight around your chest will NOT you. Watch some videos or something about proper fitting.

This jacket offers full arm motion for canoe and kayaking. It is lightweight, has mesh for coolness and a back that lets you sit comfortably in boat. Especially love that it is tailor made to fit over a womens chest but still come to to fit the waist. Very adjustable. Choose one size up, I have broad shoulders and am athletic, usually wear a medium in clothes purchased a large with perfect success. Delivery was prompt and all was perfect. Highly recommend.
