One of my favorite movies of all time, proving that a movie doesn't have to have a string of curse words to be funny. British humor at it's best, or just humor at it's best.

I didn't like Monty Python back when; I do now! How do they think this stuff up? This is a great set of DVDs; I recommend it. (I bought more than one set.)When will Monty Python movies and TV shows be available for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch? I can find nothing on the subject.Monty Python is classic; it never goes out of style. There is nothing produced of this high caliber these days. MP is rolling-in-the-aisles funny.

Life of Brian and Meaning of Life are in my opinion just terrible.
The only saving grace in this set of 3 Monty Python movies is the Holy Grail. The Life of Brian and Meaning of Life I might never watch again. Just my opinion....you may love them all. If 2-1/2 stars was a choice that's what I'd give this package of 3 not very funny and borderline witty movies.

Life of Monty
No need to wait any longer for a reasonably-priced DVD edition of the three Python films. Holy Grail is very much in the spirit of the TV series -- that is, very silly -- and gave the directors (Jones and Gilliam) a chance to learn the trade. Life of Brian is a comedic masterpiece, wonderful from beginning to end. Meaning of Life is an uneven pastiche which includes some of the best and some of the worst footage in the set. The extras on this 6-disc set are likewise uneven; the best are on the final disc, and include recent interviews with all the surviving Pythons about how the film evolved. The story behind the making of Gilliam's elaborate prologue (The Crimson Permanent Assurance) is also a hoot. Gilliam has supplied some of his irreverently iconic graphics for the title screens of the whole set. As a package it's excellent, especially if you don't have any of the films on DVD already.

Good deal
The delivery was on time and package was fine.If new, the price is way too high so I bought the used one.Price is OK but some minor wears on outer box ( as described) and tiny scratches on dvds.Also one dvd doesn't hold in the case, floating freely when closed.I am happy with it nonetheless.

The talented Pythons are now more iconic than current.I wish I had seen all the included works when they were fresh.
