Very Happy with This Purchase So Far...
This unit is everything I expected and more. Of course, I just received it a few weeks ago, but I have used it and I’m very happy with the results. I was pleasantly surprised the unit came with a very, very long Roll of nickel plated strip. The manual was disappointing - poor translation. Fortunately there are many YouTube videos that fill that gap. I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase another unit from this manufacturer and wished they made it more convenient to purchase accessories like the handheld electrode unit for larger battery packs.

Welds
EDIT: Nope did not help at all. Would have to take a part and rewind, and mount the cables directly. DIY Youtube video on this. Just don't want to spend anymore time or money..( humm time is money) on this..EDIT: Got welding tips same as -John B another customer, will give it a shot and see how it does.Ok so I waited to review this for an honest opinion. Welds are super week but I am using to two pen connecters for welding. Not the built in push up spot welder arms. Now this might be the issue. But this is not a viable set up for me or anyone. If you have any and I mean any large row of batteries they will not fit under the weld arms. If you bought this for battery building, then your in the same boat as me.. Will update with a thicker wire set up, but as of right now, this is not looking good..

Well designed, easy to use
Have a bunch of older battery operated power tools - Porter Cable and some Ego stuff (lawn mower, string trimmer) as well as an older e-bike. Got this to rebuild failing battery packs.Only had it for a few weeks but tried it out and it works really well - nice design and works well. I specifically chose Mophorn as I have had good results with their other stuff.

It is a little on the lite side and needs a little more power.
I like the packaging. It’s is easy to use.It is however just barely enough to make good tacs.

Brand new welder was DOA
This welder was DOA. When plugged in and the "welder" switch was turned on for the first use the digital setting display did not come on. I tried using the * button to no avail. I attempted a test weld to see if it was just a display problem, and nothing worked. I will look for a higher quality item from a company that tests their products before they sell them.

Great Spot-Welder
A very nice general purpose spot-welder. It has enough power to blow holes in the thinner connectors (which you fix by simply turning the power down), and turning the power back up you can use the thicker connectors for higher power systems. My first attempt isn't very pretty, but works just fine and hopefully I'll get better with practice. LOLA very good general purpose spot-welder with a very reasonable price. Keep up the good work Amazon.

Worked Great for a little while. Well packaged. Arrived on time. JB
Update: Quickly lost it's oomph! No longer strong enough to use. Bought a cheapy little battery one that's working better than this does!Works great! I even hooked up a hand-held rig directly to the arms. -John B

Works Well for Battery Packs
Works very well for .15mm nickle strips. Did a few hundred welds so far with no trouble. I have not used the charger part. If you are making packs larger than 4p I would recommend getting a unit that has a welding pen attachment.
