Probiotics are often a waste of your money and time, depending on which probiotics are in the formula. The bifidus or the B’s are more for the colon and the L’s are more small intestine which is what we call our gut and a lot of illnesses begin here! You need to be very careful when you’re introducing different lactobacillus’s into your gut because if you have any type of infection or fungal /bacterial overgrowth than it may make it worse! This is a functional medicine. Doctor is best to help you with this issue or to heal a leaky gut! This one is a good one for the: as it helps you have daily movement!

I liked these and recommend them if you need a probiotic that won't tear up your stomach. Unlike others I have tried, these actually help me. As a matter of fact, I started a medication that was giving me trouble and as soon as I started taking this, I had far less trouble which was such a relief.

I went through a period of about a month where I felt unusually worried and uneasy. Nothing had changed in my waking life, so I just attributed the feelings to work and the news. It was only after discontinuing these probiotics that the feelings subsided. I hadn't connected the two. After a few weeks, I tried it again, and the vague feelings of uneasiness returned. So it seems very likely that this probiotic is the cause. On the plus side, it did seem to help me to "go" better -- at least during the first few days. But it also seemed to interfere with my sleep. I wouldn't sleep as deeply as I normally do, and I tended to take up at 3 or 4, unable to go back to sleep. I believe that Jarrow is a good brand, and that the probiotic is high-quality. I just don't feel like it agreed with me. I'm not a huge fan of taking single-strain probiotics as it is; I tend to prefer to take multi-strain brands or to get my probiotics from fermented foods. I only decided to try this particular strain because it was reported to help with bloating and constipation. I did notice improvement in that area, but not enough to justify the uncomfortable side effects.
