Corelle Impressions Shadow Iris 30-Piece Dinnerware Set, Service for 6

Previous to this buy, I had purchased a 30 piece setting of the "square" Iris Shadow Corelle dinnerware at an outlet. I ended up loving the dishes and needed to add more pieces since we host large dinners from time to time. Its been a long time since I've had Corelleware, having gone through the many phases of stoneware, fine china, & finally yearning to go back to lighter dinnerware that does not chip or destruct easily. It didn't take me long to refamiliarize myself with Corelleware and appreciate that Corelleware is indeed more durable and lightweight. To top it off, the Iris Shadow pattern is awesome and receives a lot of compliments. So off to Amazon I went and purchased what I thought to be matching dinnerware to add to my set. The product description of this particular design didn't convey the shape of the dinnerware and at the time I ordered I didn't know the Iris Shadow dinnerware also came in a round shape. No image was available that would have alerted me to this fact before purchasing. Long story short, upon receiving the amazon package I realized without having to open the original packaging the dishes were not square and would not add in nicely with the square setting I intended to build on. Having not opened the box I can not say what condition the dishes were in. I can say the dishes were shipped quickly and appeared to be very well packaged. I'm sure these dishes are the same great quality & dependability Corelle is known for; just know these dishes are round. All I was out was shipping and the return went smoothly.

I like Corelle ware and always have. They're light, don't scratch or chip, clean easily, and they look good. Eventually you will break one, and this is where the problem comes in.. trying to find replacements. Corelle's website doesn't allow a full selection of replacements, and with the ones they do it's often cheaper to get a new set. There should be more support in this area.This is a great design which reminds me of my years in Japan. Simple, elegant, and ultimately functional. I purchased an extra set and stored them away because I know from experience when I want to replace pieces they won't be available.

I owned Corelle years ago. The dishes I currently use are heavy and bulky. Was looking for something lighter, easier to handle, and something to brighten my table. These fit the bill perfectly. I should be able to handle these without help. The pieces are good sized, and I was able to get a service for 6 which is what I was looking for. Dishes received in good shape, and the service was reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend for value and looks.

I love corelle dishes! You can stack lots in a small area in the kitchen cupboard. They last and look good for a long time. I already had a set of 6 and wanted to add to it. It's too bad they are so hard to find. The dishes I ordered were shipped quickly and came well packed. Nothing broken. Love them. Thank you. Would shop here again.

This is a beautiful new pattern and I was happy to get a set of six for a very good price. They arrived quickly and intact. I got them for my 90-year-old mother who was having a little trouble lifting her old heavier dishes. I was a little disappointed that there was no design on the bowls other than a colored ring but the plates and mugs are very nice.

This product arrived on time and was packaged very carefully. The dishes are beautiful and seem quite durable (which is needed because my wife can be a bit clumsy :P )At first I didn't really see a need for the small bowls, but they have came in handy quite a few times for deserts.

This was a gift and was gift wrapped. There was virtually no packing material inside. It slid around inside the box and it was packed so poorly it had to be re-wrapped once it arrived. I doubt if the dishes themselves were damaged in transit, but I won't know until after Christmas.

These dishes are great and really withstand everything. I love the pattern and the set was great - love those little bowls! Thought we'd never use them and we do almost daily - perfect size for a fruit cup or snack for my son! Great product!
