I specialize in tech reviews and today’s autombiles are certainly led by all things technology, including their live screen video capabilities. I’m impressed with GreenYi despite needing to return one of their cameras due to reversing lines that are not quite in sync with the actual turning of the wheel. However, this “Rectifier” can truly solve two annoying rear camera issues. The first is delayed response time. The second is possible jittery signal interference. I suggest buying it before installing your camera just in case you may need it. If not, it’s covered by Amazon’s 30 day free returns policy if not for you. No need to bend over for this rectifier model.

Didn't work for my application which is a 2008 BMW. Seller was awesome and very good with support and communication.

For prospective buyers this an excellent relay to tap into your radios 12v and allows you to use your reverse tail light as a trigger to turn on your camera to avoid the electrical noise from a pwm signal. Some aftermarket radios that support backup camera systems keep the camera running after you've left reverse for a few seconds and that's where the built in delay timer shines allowing power to continue running to the camera for an additional 10-15 seconds. To simplify wiring this is where the yellow rca cables that come with a red wire would come in handy.

Purchased camera and it was two weeks until they told me why it would not work, then another week till repair part came, still does not work! Will not buy from them ever again!

I used this to get constant power to my backup camera because the reverse light wasn’t enough juice to get it going needed to use the wire inline with the video cable and the camera works perfectly
