TV LED Backlight,USB Powered Color Changing RGB LED Strip Lights for 32-60 in Bias Lighting with RF Remote,8.2Ft

Went up behind the new big screen TV as expected. I pre-scotch-taped them to determine proper placement. Once ready the attached tape applied easily. The remote (back to that in a min) and many available colors and dimming are nice. I chose this one over the many options because of the black wire color. Many of the competitors are a white wire. Black is less conspicuous on the back of a black TV. Those things matter to me. The USB power connector was able to plug into the unused powered USB slot on the back of my TV, so I did not need to dig out an adapter, as this did not have one with it. The up-shot of using the USB on the TV was that the light comes on with my TV. A nice, unexpected bit of flash.So, the one hitch... installing this at Christmas made me instantly aware that this units remote was "interfering" with the LED remote for the Christmas tree lights. It turned the tree lights on/off/dim/color change and vice verse. I am not sure what the remote frequency is, but I imagine it is a low power and not very regulated piece of the RF spectrum. So, just be aware, there could be some domestic mayhem from overlapping LED remote freqs.Otherwise, enjoy.

While I won't use most of the colors or flashing/fading modes, I like having the option. The brightness control is very useful, and I'm happy they save the settings, even through removing power. The strip was long enough to go completely around my 40" tv, and the adhesive seems strong enough so far. The USB port is only rated for 500 mA, but I've had no issues running at full brightness.I'd looked at some other options, but couldn't justify paying 3 times as much (on sale!) for the same features. Highly recommended - I need to order another for the main 50" tv.

It took me about 5 minutes to install these and it wasn't a difficult process at all. The process is simply peeling the tape back, sticking them onto the surface, and making sure you plug it into a usb port. The remote works great and you can really adjust the look with all the colors and brightness. I like that they turn off as soon as I power down my TV and don't really need the remote now that I have the lights just how I like them. Well worth the money so far, the real test is how long the lights last but I'm not too worried.

these only displayed in white, i tried multiple remotes so i know its the lights. Also the light strip itself is only 6ft NOT 8ft. did not work for what i needed. Edit: randomly, the lights started working properly. I have installed them and they actually do the job ok despite the fact that they are indeed much shorter than described. overall I would recommend because of the low price but I dont expect them to last long since they did not work out of the box and Im not sure why they decided to start working. Also the remote is super basic, I wish it had the same features as a typical LED strip IR remote but i guess the same features arent available using RF remotes.

I not only use this light for ambiance, but also to limit eye strain while watching TV at night. The light strip is easy to install and plugs directly into the back of the TV.The remote is functional, but it seems like the same remote is used for different lighting solutions, much like auto makers use the same buttons and switches among different product lines. The switch color button on the remote also toggles strobe for some reason; overall the the light works great but the remote could be more intuitive.

Love these little lights. I had them on my tv but then I hung my tv up too close to the wall for them to really emit, plus I painted the wall a really intense color so it just didn’t look good on the tv anymore. I got one of those portable phone charger banks and I power the lights with that to make them wireless and I hid them under a coffee table which just looks awesome!

The lights installed easily and looked great. They plug right into my TV so they come on whenever my TV comes on and can be controlled via a remote.However, after 6 months of use, suddenly the lights would randomly change modes from still to blinking. A quick click of the button resolves it, but still good to know if you're purchasing these.

This worked perfectly for my 52" TV - just barely enough lights to go around the entire back of the TV (although the ends didn't meet - there's a little gap, but not noticeable at all). There's a nice variety of colors and brightness to choose from - and at night they turn my living room into a true entertainment center. My only problem with these lights is they unexpectedly turn off once in a while, and sometimes the color changes back to green on its own. But once I re-paired the remote, it's working flawlessly. Highly recommend!
