Great! First of all, very useful. Secondly, gourmet-ish looking. Thirdly, wonderful gift. Fourthly, well, I'll just tell you. These (and I mean all three) are very cool. The salt is quite course so you'll probably just pinch it out with your fingers. There are herbs appropriate to each of the designated uses: fish, vegetables, meat. I think they are somewhat interchangeable but they do add an ease of use and gives the user (me) a confident air when I use them. As I mentioned earlier, these are a great gift especially for someone who loves to cook. Probably skip the meat one for a vegetarian!
