Pacer Charger Girls Speed Roller Skates 2014

Great skate for kids that can skate (maybe even for those who are learning). My girls (7 and 10) like to skate "fast" and these do the trick... once we replaced the bearings with Bones Reds. We also had to replace the laces as the ones that came with these were really cheap and frayed on the first use. The skates have held up well over the past several months, despite the kids wearing them 2-3 times a week at the rink, running into the wall, scooting on the floor, and all other shenanigans. Size... my 7 year old wears an 11-12 shoe, her size 12 skate fits perfect... she will probably have to get a size 13 or 1 very soon. Originally I ordered 10 thinking she was still a 10... foot would not even go in the skate! My 10 year old wears a 13 dress shoe and a size 2 sneaker. Her skates are a size 4. A pair of thick socks, gel inserts and she is comfy, comfy. Suggestion... go at least one size up, use thick socks, and add insoles for comfortable skates that you won't have to replace with a new size within 6 months.

These run very small, my granddaughter wears a size 9, so I bought the J10. I had to return them for the J12, which fit perfect and she loves them. Shipping was very expensive to mail the first pair back because they are heavy.

Old stock, or factory rejected, the toe stop was unattached, and not attachable. The surface of the shoe has a grey oxidized texture, not black like previous pairs we've owned. Maybe this was a one off bad luck pair of skates, but will buy in person in the future. The return process was smooth and easy: no problem with refund.
