I`ve been using a soft `gel` style bumper cover for my 5s for a year or so which has been extremely helpful during random moments when my phone has slipped from my grasp, although on two occasions the thin glass screen had to be replaced. This new one is, as it states, of a tough amoured design and feel and although it`s just about flexible enough to twist in into position, it`s already been `drop tested` a couple of times already ... somehow it even fell onto the concrete patio slabs during an evening with friends (hic) with no visible damage :)The one downside if I had to find something, is that the sturdy plastic means that you have to press quite firmly for it to make contact with the power button but that`s not really a major issue for me.

Case fits well onto 1st gen iPhone SE and all the cutouts are perfectly spaced. Good protection without adding too much bulk - I’ve already dropped it on a tiled floor and no damage done. Great value and delivered quickly.

TECHGEAR iPhone 5s Protective Case (black) - My reason for purchasing this phone case was as a last minute buy before my backpacking trip to Central America where I was sure to drop my phone regularly. The case was very cheap (£4.95 at the time) and arrived within 4 days of purchase. It is very thick (definitely not 'super slim'), offering excellent protection with a small lip surrounding the edge of the screen in case of a face down drop. The hard plastic part of the case makes the phone a little uncomfortable to hold, especially on the side with the volume buttons where there some of the corners feel a bit sharp. Speaker/microphone ports are well positioned however the silent/loud switch is a little hard to access. I was quite worried when the case arrived in two parts which would simply fall apart from each other (I expected some sort of adhesion) but when the case is placed on the phone they stay together no problem - although there is a little bit of lift in one of the corners where the two separate parts do not lie flush with each other, a bit annoying but not the end of the world. However the biggest problem I have with the product, and why I could only give it 3 stars, is how the hard plastic edges have turned from black to orange after only having the case for 2 weeks and how easily it scratches (see attached images). I didn't expect the case to have degraded so quickly but it was very cheap and if you don't mind your iPhone case looking quite dated after a few weeks this case will definitely do a great job at protecting your phone.

Had this nearly a year and it's still going strong. The back is slightly faded in places, but it is still structurally sound and very strong. It's kept my phone safe excellently, it's survived several drops from my hand onto hard concrete surfaces and my phone has come out unscathed. The only drawback is possible the volume buttons and power button, which are a bit stiff and hard to use, but you get used to them. Other than that, this is highly recommended and well worth it for the money!

A ma grande surprise, à la livraison, j'ai du payer des droits de douane à La Poste (1€ de droit de douane + 2€ frais de gestion de la Poste). Je me suis adressé au vendeur qui m'a indiqué avec des références qu'il avait bien payé de son coté. Par contre la procédure pour se faire rembourser par la poste ou les douanes ces droits indus relève du parcours d'obstacle et j'ai préféré renoncer vu le faible montant !A part ça bon produit (c'est mon deuxième) conforme à la description.
