at three years to the month, one of the wheels locked up, presumable the bearing went bad. this caused the belt to heat up and break, I haven't found if there was other damage. I don't know if three years is a long time for these parts, but I only replaced them because I figure it would be could preventative maintenance since I was in there replacing the belt, I should have left it alone...
