Love Hate; enough for me to post a review
My wife and I ordered this dresser for storing baby stuff (diapers, clothing, etc.). I want to share my experience with the Amazon community because I feel it will help guide you in your decision whether or not to purchase this item. First, here are the Pros and Cons:PROS:- Functional--3 large drawer spaces, 1 cabinet with 1 shelf inside- Good finish--no sharp edges or dangerous components- Good value for price- Good directions; the only tools needed for assembly are a Hammer and a Screw Driver.CONS:- Cumbersome to assemble (too many parts in my opinion. Took a total of about 3 hours to assemble)- Worst customer experience (which I will elaborate on below)When the package arrived, there were 3 wood pieces that were damaged. All three wood pieces were cracked in half. I promptly contacted customer service through e-mail because the office was closed at the time. With a few back and forth e-mails, the company shipped out the 3 replacement parts. I was not too aggravated at the time because bad luck happens.Approximately 5 days later, I received the replacement parts. My pregnant wife was home to receive the package! The packing slip for the replacement parts clearly said that the 3 replacement parts were included. However, to my dismay and total disappointment, only 2 of the 3 parts were in the package. Another e-mail session began and the company sent out the final piece. But wait, there's more...One of the 2 replacement pieces was not drilled in the correct places. The irony is that the piece had an "inspected by..." sticker on it. I'm not sure what the inspector was inspecting but clearly, the piece was unusable. The good news was that I had power tools to manually drill rivets and holes in the correct place for the piece to be usable. But this would have been over-the-top frustration had I not had such tools or the know-how to use them Had I known this was going to be such an ordeal, I would have clearly just stopped by the hardware store on my way home from work to get a $2 piece of lumber to manually create this missing part.So moving on...another 5 days later and I received the final replacement piece. In total, we spent about 3 weeks between purchase (with Amazon Prime) and total completion of the dresser. While I was completing assembly of the dresser, I also noticed that the top piece of the dresser was also damaged. It looked like that company simply painted over a piece of lumber with a large dent in it. At this point was too frustrated to send out for another replacement piece. The dent was only aesthetic and not a functional error so at this point I really didn't care too much about it.I will say that customer service was polite and courteous in getting the replacement pieces out to me...twice! However, it helps not to have to go through what I had to in order to assemble a simple chest of drawers. Bottom line...you are purchasing at your own risk. Hopefully you have better luck than I did.I have included pictures of the 3 cracked pieces and the dent in the top of the drawer for your viewing pleasure :)

A nice addition to your home
1 person assembly—me. It took me longer than I expected but was able to easily put the dresser together using the instructions. My tip would be to assemble the dresser in roughly the same area that you’re placing it (if doing solo) because it’s quite heavy.First, make sure all of the pieces are present. Then I’d recommend using three tools: hammer, Phillips head, and a flat head. I had my drill ready just in case, but didn’t need it. The instructions were quite simple, although I didn’t mount my dresser it feels sturdy (but perhaps mount yours if you have kids I guess).4/5 stars-what I disliked was a cosmetic defect on the top piece that didn’t affect assembly of the furniture, and one of the bolt thingies split on the drawer that didn’t affect it.Overall beautiful piece!

Can't keep itself together...
Bought this about a year and a half ago when we were expecting our second child. When we first got it, we loved it. It is very cute and you really don't need more than 3 drawers with a baby and the cabinet is a plus for extra storage. But after just a couple of months, 2 of the 3 drawers started falling apart and the bottoms would fall out if there was any weight at all. My husband took wood glue and put them back together and after another couple of months one of the drawers messed up again, followed by a second one. And then the piece that goes along the very bottom came off. Now our child is 18 months and I can only use one drawer and the cabinet (but you can't keep anything in the cabinet because an 18 month old will pull it all out). So it looks great but a dresser is pointless if the bottoms keep falling out of the drawer.

Disappointed with the parts.
I received this dresser 2 weeks ago and was very excited to put it together for my son arriving in March. Turns out there were 2 pieces broken when it arrived. Part "N" and part "P" (pictures included). I called and they sent out the pieces that broke with no problem. When opening the new parts, they were the ones that we needed, but a different color than what we received. (Part "P" was fine) The original piece was "Part N" that came black on one side, and wood on the other, one of which was broken. When recieving the new piece "N", it was white on both side. Those pictures are included. Also, piece "N1" has a chip in the top. Picture included.I was pretty disappointed with this. We still need to built it because we are running out of time before the baby comes. So unfortunately there will be chips in the dresser, as well as miss-matched pieces. Any discounts or reimbursements would be appreciated for the inconvenience this is causing us. I love your products and have a few more that I wanted to buy as well. I'm really hoping this doesn't happen again.Martha Klotz

Customer Service
Hi-I just purchased this item from South Shore off Amazon (South Shore Savannah 3-Drawer Dresser with Door, Pure White) and when I went to find contact information, was disappointed its no where to be found which it told me to come to this site, South Shore website when contact info didnt work. Kinda concerning when I see item is unavailable as well after just purchasing itWe received the item and its missing 2 of the blue bolt (as far as we know right now until we put the dresser together fully, but cant do it without these 2 blue parts we are missing). How do I go about receiving those? Also, was very disappointed in the poor quality it is and the damages it came with. Any way get a refund for the damages I've received? I dont have time or energy to send it back fully, as I'm currently pregnant and trying to source out baby items together.I'd appreciate an email back and how to go about all this!Thank you!

Great Value and Incredible Customer Service
Just a few parts were missing. South Shore Furniture has a website that conveniently allows you to reorder anything missing or that needed replacing. They got back to me quickly and were most apologetic.Unfortunately they FedEx the items by ground and had my incomplete dresser sitting in my dining room area for several days while waiting for the replacement items i.e. from Quebec to British Columbia. South Shore kindly made amends by gifting me top quality drawer dividers.Despite the inconvenience this is a delightful customer service oriented company. I would buy any of their products again because they want to make sure the consumer is satisfied.

Nice item, arrived damaged
Item is nice and sturdy, took about an hour and a half to assemble. It’s a little less grey then it looks on line but still very pretty. Only complaint is it arrived damaged, lots of dents and dings. If it weren’t for the fact that it was half assembled when I noticed and it was going in a kids room and will probably get more damaged I would have returned it. The wood is definitely not very strong

I searched everywhere to find the perfect dresser for my toddlers room
I searched everywhere to find the perfect dresser for my toddlers room. Finally found this, and took a major chance. I could not be happier with the quality and the way it looks. The only downfall is seeing my husband put having to put it together...it came with a lot of pieces that makes it very time consuming. If you have patience or someone that is handy, then this is the best buy for your money.

Looks good but super cheap.
After a couple months we had to glue parts of the drawers because they where comming off all the time. Oh well, we bought cheap furniture from the internet, was did we expect! Still looks great.
