Folkmanis Orange Tabby Kitten Hand Puppet Orange, White, 1 EA

I bought this for my grandson who wanted a hand puppet for his 10th birthday. I don't think he will be disappointed. This kitten is soft plush, the color is a beautiful golden/orange variegated tabby color and my large woman's hand fits in it snugly. My boyfriend's larger hand just fit but it didn't come to his wrist, it was a little short for his big hand. It is well made (I do alot of sewing) and the face is cute with clear whiskers. The mouth can be moved by putting your middle finger in the lower lip. The index and ring fingers can go in the fore-paws and the thumb and pinky fingers fit in the back paws. That way you can animate the kitten and make it seem like it is walking and talking. The body is a plush fur-like fabric and the pads of the paws and the ears are a smoother plush fabric.The plastic eyes are solid (not flimsy) and are golden with a large oval black center. The nose is a soft very lightly fuzzy fabric, firmly packed, with matching brown stitches going from the bottom center of the nose to the mouth. The tongue is the same soft fuzzy-like fabric in a pinkish brown and is softly stiffened (makes it easy to move the mouth). The kitten is lightly stuffed and fully lined with a soft creamy orange colored fabric. There is elastic encased at the base of the belly to help keep the kitten placed snugly at the wrist.The tail is curved upward and firmly stuffed. All in all, it is an adorable hand puppet for a child or small adult.

We love him. His mouth is movable and he has an adorable little tongue. You can manipulate four legs, mouth and jaw, bow the head. You just need three extra fingers on the one hand. Thick bushy tail. Cute long whiskers.

This is a real review and I’m not a robot. I don’t remember ordering this one. I think I ordered this for my friend‘s daughter and freaked her dad out because he thought it was real but then we decided to take it in the pool and we named him lazy river if this is the right one cause I’ve got many puppets, but this was a good quality puppet. Don’t get it wet or your best friend might not put in the dryer and let it sit outside and mold, and then she threw it away.

We bought this cat for our one year old because it resembles our real cat. It’s the perfect size and so soft. My son brings it every where and pulls on it and it’s still holding up. He loves this cat so much and always has fun playing with it. Highly recommend!

Very well made puppet with beautiful appearance and very realistic, particularly the eyes and mouth. All appendages may be moved with fingers, and this would be a 5 star review except that an adult hand has difficulty giving motion to this puppet. Interior is a little tight, but I find with more use it is getting easier to use. A child's hand would have difficulty moving the legs and especially the mouth that opens to show a tiny, sweet pink tongue. The children who see this beautiful kitten love the realistic look and it is superior in construction but be aware that it may be harder than similarly sized, realistic puppets to give motion to, in part perhaps because it is so well padded inside. Looks like a generic puppy as well, so I use it either way.

My older son came home from a convention with the tuxedo cat puppet. when my younger son saw it he asked for one. We have an orange tabby who was not super impressed by the puppet but we were! It’s great quality, beautifully soft and looks like our Stormy 🐈 my kids love it.

My grandkids love it. Great quality. I had hoped my kitty would use it to play with and play fight with when I used it as a puppet, but only mild interest.

I am a fan of this brand and the cat is my fav. We have them in our local library and I just had to get one for myself. Hey are pretty expensive tho but soooo sooo nice.

Je l'ai acheté pour tirailler mon chaton. A deux mois, ils cherchent juste à mordiller et se battre avec nos mains... la parade, c'est cette marionnette chat!!! Parfaite et de bonne taille pour de petites mains adultes, on peut articuler les 4 pattes et la gueule avec nos doigts et notre pouce. Très solide, elle perd quand même un peu poils lors des combats, mais demeure correcte, même après quelques semaines d'utilisation! Fera le bonheur de vos chatons, ou de vos enfants, assurément!

A really well made puppet that is quite life like and has the cutest little face. My young music students are going to love him!
