I have been using this flea collar for my dog for a long time now. The collar lasts for 8 months, so is definitely value for money. But even more important, it works. My dog is now 5, and he as never had fleas or ticks. I did initially try another product in the form of drops, but they were not easy to apply to my satisfaction, which is why I tried the collar. I shall continue to use this product

I ordered 2 of these collars (I have 2 dogs!) and they state that they offer 8 months protection from fleas, ticks, lice, mosquitoes and larvae. Until now, my pets have always had injections to repel fleas, but they do love a good rummage in long grass, so I'm very cautious that one day they are going to come home with some friends :(The collars state that they are waterproof, so I won't have to worry about removing the collars when grooming or in the great British rainy weather. The metal tins will come in useful for small nick nacks in my office, push pins/paper clips and elastic bands, so won't get wasted. Upon opening the tin, you are greeted with a sealed foil package which was easy to tear open with the coiled collar opening out.I deliberately tried to smell the collars to see if they had a pungent scent, but it's not too bad - a sort of combination of citronella/hint of lemon mixed with a bit of vanilla perhaps? There is definitely no smell of rubber as I would have expected from the sealed packaging which was an unexpected pleasant surprise.The collar has a kind of plastic loop to secure it and can be easily cut to length. My dogs are a toy breed and only used a third of the collar, but I have put the leftover pieces in their bed and crate under a blanket rather than throwing it away. I have taken a picture of the collar at its largest against my full size laptop keyboard to show that you're going to have a pretty big dog for this collar not to fit!Early days, so I can't say how effective these are but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I don't gain any new pets at lease for the next 6 months out of the 8 that is claimed, but the dogs don't seem phased so far :)

Not sure whats going on with the collar I bought. First thing I noticed there was no scent at all. After reading others reviews was expecting a scent of some kind but nothing. I put the collar on my dog within a couple of days of getting it, 8th September, she has been wearing it approximately 3/4 weeks. In that time from the 2nd week on I have been finding very much alive fleas daily. Tonight I found two on her neck under the collar itself , so I thought it was time to write this review. Have I just got one that doesn't work, ?Update... Seller more than made up for the faulty product.I now have a replacement that is how it should be. Than you so much.Can someone please advise. I seem to have spent money for nothing. !

THIS PRODUCT FAILED TO MEET EXPECTATIONS AND CLAIMS . OUR COLLIE DOG BECAME RIDDLED WITH FLEAS ON HIS CHEST AND HIS RUMP. this product gave no protection whatever. We put the collar on Flip on the 22nd JULY .he started itching soon and we took him for a clip and thorough wash on Aug 18th The fleas came off him in droves while he was being bathed. The flea collar purchased in good faith had no protection whatever. We have been advised to return it and get a refund.. Was this a con product riding on the back of the genuine Serasto collar which worked perfectly well last time. Very disappointed from Devon!! Colin Pady and one very itchy dog. Are we too late to send this back and get a refund? We have been advised to try Pets drugs on-line for the genuine Serasto flea collar with 8 week protection.

Okay but kept falling off

I like that this product is all-natural and only uses essential oils to get rid of fleas and ticks. I was hesitant about a collar other than the name brand; however, this collar is working just fine. I have not had it on the dog very long but she was scratching before and she is not scratching now. Several people wrote that the collar 'smelled', it has a slight smell but it is not a bad smell. Goes away quickly. I hope I will be posting in eight (8) months that the collar did its job...and if it has, I will be buying the same one again plus four more for the other dogs!

As an added precaution to regular monthly flea treatment, my dog wears this collar from March to November. It is odourless, waterproof and comfortable for the dog to wear. In the four years that my dog has worn this, I have never found fleas or ticks on him. It is also a very reasonable price.

Sorry to have to say these collars do not work. I have three small dogs and live in a tick infested area. I was hoping they would at least reduce the number of ticks and the jury is still out on that, but I am still removing ticks daily from all three and some are right underneath the collar. They had no fleas before I put the collars on and now have the odd one or two....as I stopped using Frontline. Wish they did work!! Update.... Vienapoli kindly reimbursed the full amount for my purchase. This was unprompted and very good of them. I cannot increase the stars I have given for the product but give them 5 ⭐ for customer service. Thank you Vienapoli BUT really wish your collars worked!
