Buy 46 of these, you won’t regret it!!! (Except 45 of them).
This thing is amazing! In the Wichita area I get 30+ channels in 480i which is actually really clear. Cannot believe I have been paying a cable company 100+ bucks a month for 100 channels I didn’t even watch. This paired with Hulu/Netflix is all you will ever need. I cannot say how it will do in rural areas but if you live in city limits, this is a great alternative to cable.

better than the 60.00 ones
we decided 2 years ago that cable is not worth the cost, don't know what took us so long to decide....but it was a great move on our part...and of course we thought the more expensive antenna would do the best job , wrong again. most people think today's smart tv's only work with cable, but they work very good with rabbit ears, or even just a paper clip placed at the antenna port will get you channels....anyway this 7.00 antenna gets us 84 channels in the city....at our cabin in the woods 40 miles away from any small country town (not city) we get 6 major channels, and thats way better than zero channels...love it , i bought 2 more.

Who needs Cable? This attena is the bomb!
So I just cut the cord for my cable use. I was skeptical at first because I've ALWAYS had cable. This antenna was easy to hook up and I am getting ALL my local channels and many more than I had WITH cable! Aint that some shiggity!!! I wish I'd done this a lot sooner. I do have fire stick, but I work 8 hours a day and when home watch mostly news and sometimes a fav show here and there. I am not able to get OWN but hey! I COULD really just have this attenna and get everything Im watchin for freeeeeeee. ... Im good with that. But, i KEEP my fire stick just for some variety. Get you an antenna and see for yourself... its sooooo worth it. !

Don't fix what isn't broken
I cut the cord 10 years ago, I used a regular rabbit ear type over air antenna to get the major 4 channels, NBC, CBS, ABC, and FOX, one of affiliates in a city 58.8 miles away. I decided a couple of years ago to switch to a flat panel not as intrusive over air antenna. I paid $65.00 at an well known electronics store ( think restock fees) that shall not be named. Needless to say my over air viewing dropped to one local channel. The funny thing about it was that the one affiliate I picked up also owns and puts out the local FOX affiliate from the same building as the one channel I got and yet I couldn't even get FOX . I gave up in frustration because it is a pain to switch things out on a wall mounted TV and I was streaming most of the time anyway. When I changed TV's I bought these ugly rabbit ears and got back all the Major four as well as The CW, 4 PBS stations, several religious stations, ION, LAFF, TELEMUNDO,METV, DABL, TRUECRIME, GRIT, BOUNCE, AND COURT/MYSTERY. On this model the rods are not as long as my older rabbit ears but is still works better, than the flat panel overpriced place mat, some of the channels it picks up are over 150 miles away, I should note I live in North Texas and there are not a lot of barriers that the broadcast need to pass through. This Antenna has worked well though rain and the February 2021 Texas blizzard. I learned a lesson newer isn't always better and don't fix what isn't broken.

Small and effective.
The antenna works well. On my 1st pass at adding channels I found 19. That is 19 that I no longer have to pay for since I cut the cable tv bill. My only complaint is that I wish that the antenna was longer to possibly pickup more channels. Other than that it is a good purchase.***update***I placed the antenna away from the tv ontop of a book stand and rescanned for local channels. I found 46 this time.

Hard to find antennas with the old style long dipoles but they work best in my experience
Returned it. Dipoles are way too short. It doesn't pick up even basic local stations and I live within 15 miles of the city. Purchased a used antenna for the same price with 39" dipoles and problem solved. Hard to find antennas with the old style long dipoles but they work best in my experience.

Terrible Reception!
Do not waste your money! The dipoles are too short to receive local stations (all PBS stations non-existent). The cord is too short making the room location difficult, unless an extension cable is attached (not worth spending the money). I tried this antenna in several rooms and proved unsuccessful in all. I received between 5 and 17stations, the best reception was 22 when placed near (very near a window). Even then, the signal was weak! Also, there is no built-in amplifier. The old "rabbit ear" style indoor antennas with long dipoles are difficult to find. I recommend the DeveSouth Direct Indoor 120+Miles Ultra Amplifier HDTV antenna. This antenna may not have the dipoles, but the reception is amazing! Highly recommend
I don’t write many reviews but I was so happy with this purchase that I wanted to help anyone in my position. I, like so many others, decided to cut the cord and got rid of cable. Among the tips I read was to purchase an hd antenna, so I started researching them.I was so confused, I read so many reviews and people had good and bad experiences with each product. Didn’t know if I needed a really cheap or expensive antenna...I did know that I wasn’t going to put the antenna on a window or hang it anywhere, I really wanted one that could be placed on the tv stand, so I piugged it into the tv and let it sit on the stand and sure enough it worked perfectly, in fact picked up over 50 channels, of which I will probably only watch 4, but whatever. In all fairness I think any of these antennas work or don’t work depending on your location...I live in the city (south Florida) not too terribly far (10-20 miles) from most of the stations so I probably only needed a basic antenna to begin with..I ended up putting the antenna behind the tv just on the mounting bracket to keep it hidden and it is perfect for my use. Your experience may be different but if you live in city relatively close to stations the. You don’t need anything else....Highly recommend, I also just ordered another for a tv in the bedroomBy the way, i am not exaggerating that the picture quality is amazing, Currently watching Foxnfl preseason football and it is as good if not better than cable.

Not good for the price
I tried this antenna to replace my old 12$ antenna to see if I could get more channels. I also have an issue with my old antenna since it is a ''paper sheet'' antenna. Reception is not very good when it is ''flat'' on a surface which is an issue. I was pretty sure that this antenna would solve everything but it did not.Pro- Sit well on a table- Look better than ''paper sheet'' antennaCon- I am 2 miles from an antenna that should carry 4 channels. My old antenna got all 4 (one of them with more difficulty) and this one is getting only 2 (and one is not that strong)- Cable is too short. I'm having difficulty putting it on my table that is 3-4 feet in front of my TV. It might be ok if you want to leave the antenna near your TV but I can't do that because of my wall insulation.- Price tag is way too high for that kind of performance.

It doesn't work
It doesn't work. Put it on an older model Toshiba TV, 21 inch. There was no scanning feature for the channels and it doesn't work.

Worth it!
We have to use it outside but we get about 20 channels.
