Apostrophe Games Blank Hexagon Playing Cards

Acrylic paint works great on these hexagonal cards, you only really need 2-3 layers of paint for the correct color to show, but the paint drys you need to put a glaze over it or it will scratch right off (becuase of it's Aqueous Finish) I used polyurethane (I use it for sculpey and it's meant wood I think) but probably any glaze for going over paint will work to make it that the paint doesn't scratch off easily. I would recommend taking one of the cards and using it as a tester for glazes.

These are awesome! I used them for an all school art project. Each of the 550 students used sharpies fill a card with whatever they wanted. Then we put them all together on the wall so everyone shared their unique part of our school community that looked amazing when they were all viewed as a whole. They are sturdy, shiny, and great quality. Totally beats cutting out 550 hexagons!
