Monster High Travel Scaris Jinafire Long Doll

This doll is not the easiest to find so if you know someone who is a monster high fan and you see this doll, don't wait to buy it later. She is a really pretty doll who comes with a rolling luggage for traveling. Her face is a gold metalic with a matte finish, beautiful green eyes with thick painted lashes. Her hair bright lime green with minimal black highlights. She has a dark plum dress with black,orange and periwinkle blue design. She has a detachable gold plastic belt with a sheer black w/orange webbed design, that is cut jagged and covers just the front or side, depending on how you position the belt, and comes to about the knee or a tad below it. She also has the same material fitted on one arm to about the elbow and then it drapes in a jagged design. Her arms and leggs are also gold and have a bumpy texture resembling the texture of a lizard or scaly snake. Her tale is long and curved and if positioned downward goes to the back of her ankle and is all gold with the exception of the green flame like design at the end of it. her shoes are orangeand wrap partway up her ankle and they have a gold heel with a ball & claw look at the front that make them like a platform heel. She is a very pretty doll and a must for any monster high doll collector. My kids collect them but they do play with them so they are not just for collecting. I'm not sure how young the youngest monster high doll collectors are but my 11yr old still loves them.

I absolutely love this doll! The detailing is exquisite, from the scales throughout her body to the carvings in her hair decoration. You can't tail from the picture, but she is a nice golden color and even a bit glittery. The doll photographs very well, with her skin turning a deep glittery gold and her outfit and nice red and wine color. The diary she comes with is well written, and includes very nice and detailed pictures. It is not the plain black/white notebook shown in the pictures. It is red and has a wood-block painting sort of feel to it. The suitcase, which has a sliding handle and actually rolls, has the same feel. The doll is highly poseable, reminding me much of an Asian Boll Jointed Doll, minus the exorbitant price. It's hard to believe she's a toy that's only about $20.There is a tag in the back of her head, but if you carefully cut it down enough it's not noticeable at all. Also, her tail falls off fairly easily, but if you twist it in place it'll stay pretty snug. The tail coming off is necessary in order for it to fit on the stand. My stand is a bit crooked, but I rather sit her places anyway.Don't buy this for $30+! She was never meant to be that price! If you wait, Amazon LLC. sells it for about $20-$25. Trust me, she's worth the wait!

Jinafire Is stunning. She is my new favorite monster high doll. I really am fascinated by her look, it's one a kind. The only problem I encountered was her tail constantly falls off. I think that has to do with the fact that it is thicker than the other mh dolls that have tails such as toralei and the werecats. I was lucky enough to buy her for 21.99 and not double for what people are selling her for. It's kind of sad considering this is a child's toy and some parents refuse to pay those prices online so they cant get there kid the toy. Good think amazon has a good amount of stock on these girls.

This may very well be my favorite doll in the Scaris series. Jinafire is beautifully detailed, as are her accessories. Her dress is well-made (I have had this doll for two years, and it still looks like I just took her out of the box). The only downside is that her lovely tail does not stay well in her body, and often falls out (this is the first time I've had this problem with any of the tailed dolls, the housing for the tail is usually quite well-fitted to allow for both stability and posing movement).The only thing that makes me sad is that for a 1st run of a character, she has no pet. I honestly think Mattel should re-consider, and release pets with ALL 1st run dolls, even if they are part of a themed series (as they did with 13 Wishes Howleen and Twyla). Also, it seems strange that they did not give her any sewing or design accessories. However, I really love her fully-functional suitcase, which is fully detailed.
